John's POV
Freddie's face went pale and he fumbled to unbuckle his seatbelt. He forced open the car door and threw up onto the car park pavement. I heard him gag and I ran out of the car and around to the other side. He was doubled over, hanging out of the car.

"What's wrong, love?" I asked whilst kneeling down to his side. Freddie wipes the corner of his mouth while his sleeve. I looked down to see his eyes, they were watering. They looked filled to the brim with tears and any more would make them spill over. His face was still sheet white and he avoided eye contact as he spoke to me.

"You said, R-Richard Valent-tine" he stuttered. I lifted his chin up to meet my eyes, "Yes, love. Why are you so distraught?" I asked. Freddie took a deep breath and wiped his eyes as he spoke. "We can't let him near any one of us" he said. I was about to ask why, but Freddie got back into the car and closed the door.

I went back to my side and sat down. Freddie was sitting staring forward and not saying a word. I couldn't just drive off without talking to him. I grabbed his hand and leaned in close to him.

"Freddie, you need to tell me what's wrong. If you have a problem with this guy I don't want him as our manager. And it seems to me like you've got something to say about him" I concluded. Freddie opened his mouth as if he was going to speak, but he then closed it and held in a sob. There were tears running down his face. I'd never seen him like this before. I decided not to push him into answering anything he didn't feel comfortable with. Obviously this man wasn't good.

I unbuckled myself and hugged Freddie. I held him tight and rubbed his back. "You can cry if you want, sweets. Just let it all out" I cooed. Freddie sobbed into my shoulder. He tried to say something, but was drowned out by his own tears.

"Baby, if he's already going to see Rog, and he's as bad as he seems, then I think I should go. Y'know to make sure nothing terrible happens. Brian doesn't know how you feel about him so he won't be able to protect Rog" I said. Freddie nodded and sniffled. "You don't have to come if you don't want to" I said whilst rubbing his thigh. Freddie nodded again and wiped his eyes. "Can I stay here?" He asked. "Of course"

Freddie got out of the car and I hugged him goodbye. He made me promise that I wouldn't let Richard touch anyone. I really hoped he wasn't hinting at anything Richard had done in the past. I really hope that he hadn't physically hurt Freddie. As we had just talked about, this world wasn't safe for anyone.

I drove to the hospital quickly. I didn't want to be late and have Richard already there. I noticed a limo pull up to the front entrance. A tall, dark haired man walked out. I rushed in to see him, praying to God that if it was him I would make it to the room before him.

"Excuse me" I tapped his shoulder. He was much taller than me. Taller than Brian I would say. He turned around with a smug look, "Yes?" He asked with a laugh. His faces looked oh so punchable.

"Are you Richard Valentine?" I asked. He scoffed a little. God, I hate him already. "Yes" He answered as if he was some kind of celebrity I should already know. He turned back around and asked a nurse where he could find Roger's room. I needed to be faster than him. I told the nurse that I had been with Roger before and that I needed to see him again. She waved me through and then right after, Richard.

"So you know Mr. Taylor as well?" He asked from behind me. I stopped dead in my tracks. I turned slowly, "Yes, Roger and I have been friends and band mates for years" I empathized so he would take the hint. "So you must be in Queen as well. You must be John. I'm sorry for ignoring you earlier, I'm your new manager and needed to speak with Roger right away"

He apology was faker than his tan. I smiled nicely and turned back around. This time a speed walked so I could warn Roger ahead of time, hopefully he was awake. I quickly opened the door and then closed it. Brian and Roger were talking. Thank God He was awake. But his face was white as snow. This serious situation was about to get even more intense.
