John's POV
"So what do you want to do for dinner?" Freddie asked as we exited the studio. We had just come back from an extensive planning session of that would result in Richard's demise. Freddie had come up with a genius plan to get rid of the urchin.

"Anywhere is fine" I said. I got into the car and buckled myself in. Safety first, even if some of the boys make fun of me. Brian agrees with me though. Funny, Brian and I agree on a lot of  things...

"Do you think this plan will work?" I asked Freddie. "Darling, of course it will. I'm not just a musical genius, dear" he said. "Promise me you won't get too wrapped into this. I don't want it to backfire" I said. "I promise, baby" he said whilst I drove to a little bistro Freddie had told me about a while back.

I parked on the street and opened Freddie's door for him. I still hadn't told him about Roger kissing me. It didn't feel right to worry him like that. I think I should leave it alone. I don't want to upset him when we still have Richard to deal with.

"Thank you" he kissed my cheek as I helped him out of the car. "So, I think we should go over the details of the plan again" I said as we walked in. The hostess immediately sat us down. "After a drink or so, I want to spend time with you before we have to think about that creature again" he said. I had to agree with him on that one. Neither of us are the biggest fans of him.

"Anything to drink?" The waiter asked as we sat down at a table for two. Thankfully they put us at one in the corner, I didn't want any fans or press seeing us. We liked our privacy. "A bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal" I said. The waiter smiled and walked away.

"Johnny, I love that you always order my favorite, but we just came back from a meeting about finances. Maybe we shouldn't" he said whilst putting his hand on top of mine. "Don't worry, love, I've always had something saved for every time we go out. Besides, I haven't ordered champagne for you in months" I said. This made Freddie feel better. He was always trying to make sure I didn't spend too much, but I just want to treat him like a king.

A few minutes later the waiter returned with our bottle and two flutes. He filled out glasses and took our order. I got grilled salmon and Freddie got some fancy French thing I didn't understand. "Cheers" Freddie raised his glass, "to us, darling" he finished. I clinked his glass and he grabbed my hand under the table.

Freddie and I couldn't be too public about our relationship. Freddie hadn't come out as gay to the world yet and if people found out that two members Queen were gay AND dating each other, we'd be done. "I love you" I whispered and squeezed his hand. "I love you too" he squeezed back.

We talked about recent news and our funny childhood stories. Soon, our food came. "Oh, wow! This is delicious, dear. You must try it" Freddie held out his fork to me. I was hesitant at first, but then tried the cuisine. It really was good. "Wow, that's good" I said with my hand over my mouth. Freddie nodded and took another bite. We shared each other's food and enjoyed each other's company.

"So" I started, "Just how are we going to go about this little plan?" I asked. Freddie gave me a iniquitous smile, "I think I'll take the lead of things, but I'll go farther than he thought. Way farther" he said. "I need details" I said, suddenly realizing Fred and I were way over tipsy.

"Here's how it'll go" he said, "I'll call Richard personally, then he'll come over and I'll pretend I want to seduce him as planned. I'll tell him all about how I only want him and he'll be so lost in me that he'll believe it. That's when I bring out the big guns" I listened to him go on. The next part of the plan was going to get very heavy, but we all talked it over and decided we have to fight fire with Fire.

"Then, I'll tell him how we got into a fight and end with the big stunner" he said. "Are you sure this is the safest 'stunner'?" I asked. "Darling, we either go big or go home" he raised his eyebrows. Freddie's plan was intense. Once he got Richard to believe he had a fight, we was going to act crazy... really crazy. Ending the night with a huge bang, he'd tell Richard to help him hide my body.
