I shut the door behind me as I walk inside my cozy apartment. It looks like hell outside. I'm so happy it's Friday.

I drop off my bag on top of the kitchen counter along with my keys. I zip down my coat to store it in the closet when my tv flickers on.

I turn around to find a man sitting on the foot of my bed.

"Who the fu-"

"Im Frost. Johnny Frost" the man says but i don't move from my spot at the door.

"Why are you on my bed?" I ask. My eyes widen as he stands to a towering six feet.

"Needed to look less intimidating then my usual standing position" he says to as he holds his hands down together in front of him.

"We have business to discuss" he signals for me to sit down in front of him on my bed.

"Business as in.." I know why he's here, I just want to know what they call him.

"Joker, he informed me that you're the one who has been terrorizing his dreams" I furrow my eyebrows.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I ask and he looks to the side before finding my gaze.

"What's your position in the facility?" he asks me and I hold my hands out in front of me.

"Okay listen here Johnny. I'm a little slow so bare with me. Uhm—first off...how the hell did you get inside of my apartment?" I ask.

"Picking a lock is a pretty basic technique" he informs me and I nod.

"Alright so, before getting to the schematics, how long have you know Joker?" he asks me.

"I went to school with him, how do you know him?"

"I met him in Blackgate. He saved me" he answers simply.

"So you're like what? His bodyguard?" I question him.

"Yeah..amongst other things. I'm his right hand man" he shrugs. He walks to the window and peers through my shutters.

"Why have you suddenly turned up here?" he asks me.

"Do you know why he ended up in Blackgate?" I ask Frost. I stand up from my place on my bed. He looks at me and shakes his head.

"At the time he didn't like talking about his past. And after a while....it's like he forgot about who he was.." he stares at the floor next to my feet before looking back up at me.

"He killed my mom" I say and without hesitation Frost takes out his gun and takes off the safety.

I smirk and walk up to him so that it's aiming at the middle of my forehead.

"Why are you back Harley?" he questions me.

"Why are you so quick to kill me off? Don't you wanna know what happened for him to kill
her?" he shakes his head.

"He saved me" I scoff.

"Yeah so what? A life for a life, because I have a feeling your relationship with my dear Jack is much more than just repaying him for saving you" I keep my head held high.

"They said he brainwashed me into pulling the trigger. Jack killed a total of four people Johnny. Two of them were men who flirted with me. One of them was this random girl we had sex with and lastly it was my mother. He fucked with my brain to the point where it seemed like the only option for him and I to live happily ever after was to kill my mother. The woman who gave birth to me. Who raised me, do you know what that's like Johnny?" the six foot tall man stares down at me without faltering.

"Do you know what it's like to see the body of your own mother..lifeless. Just laying there. Hearing her screams for you to stop what you're about to do?" I ask him again.

"Tell me Johnny, how many people have you killed in the name of Jack? Tell me" I urge him and i can feel my eyes begin to water.

"I don't want to kill him, I just want to know why...why me" I pat my chest. I can no longer tell if i'm lying.

"I loved him like I've never loved any man before. I still do. I just need to know why he chose me. Why was I the one who paid the price for loving him so deeply" I swallow thickly as the bullshit words flow out of my mouth like a river of lies. He clicks back on the safety before lowering his arm and tucking it back into the waist band of his pants.

"What's the real reason you're here for?" I ask as I look away to wipe a stray tear that fell.

"It's time for Joker to come home. His business is steady but momma always told me steady is just one bad week away from broke" he states.

"And what is it that you want me to do?" I cross my arms over each other as I stare at the tall man.

"I just need a way of getting in and getting him out. I have all the man power needed to handle the process" I breathe in deeply. I walk towards my front door and grab my jacket along with my keys.

"Fine. But first, I need a drink"
