I Don't Know Why by Star

His heart beat is soft against his chest. It's synchronized with mine. I breathe in his scent deeply, calming me even more.

My fingers trace over his tattoo. I look up to see him peacefully sleeping.

His silk sheets rest against my lower back covering my naked lower half. My breasts are pushed up against his side.

I close my eyes and remember the endless love making that kept us awake until the late hours of the night. I've missed his body against mine. The way he makes me feel. I've missed it for such a long time.

I sweep my fingers across his jaw.

"I love you" I whisper to his sleeping ears.

He stirs in his sleep and I lie back. He follows me and rests his head against my chest.

I hold him in between my legs and he holds me like a baby holds his mother. I comb my fingers through his hair.

"I'll kill you Jack. I'll kill you if it's the last thing i do!" I yell as they take me away and he laughs.

I could've killed him. I had the perfect opportunity and chance. I still can. But I don't want to. I need him.

My chest aches at the thought of not having him with me.

"Shoot Harley" I swallow thickly and sob.

"Shoot her before I do!" he yells into my ear and I pull the trigger.

That sound didn't leave my mind for weeks. Months even.

The horrible sound that lead to my mothers death.

The horrific way her body lied there. Lifelessly.

My heart beat quickens and I can feel
myself breathing much more difficultly. I try to steady my breathing but it's no use. I sob and it racks through my whole chest. So much so that it wakes up Jack. I swallow and wipe away the tears.

"What's wrong?" he asks sleep heavy in his voice and I shake my head. I slide up and hit my back against the head board.

"Don't touch me" I move away from him and make way for the door. He grabs my arm and brings me into his chest.

"You're not going anywhere" he growls and I spit in his face.

"Fuck you" I grab a shirt from the ground and throw it over myself.

I run out of the room and down the stairs. I grab a gun lying on the coffee table.

I hold it up to him. He's in sweats now. Still no shirt.

"Don't come closer" he doesn't listen and I shoot up into the ceiling.

He stops in his tracks and rests his hands on his head.

He chuckles, "If I didn't know you were crazy I'd think you were insane".

"You killed her Jack. Like it was nothing" my hands tremble.

"Stop. Calling. Me. That" he growls and his eyes momentarily close as he holds his head.

"Does it bother you? Me calling you by name?" he walks closer to me and the gun is up against his chest.

"That's not my name Doc. Not anymore. You gotta stop digging in here-" he points to his temple.

"There's no use. There ain't nothing left for you to play with" he grins.

"As I recall you pulled the trigger Quinzel"

"You did this not me. It's your fault she's dead—" I pull the trigger and he smiles.

"Ran out of bullets didn't ya" his hand lands on my face as hits me so hard I fall down.

I hold my cheek and look up at him crouching down. He grabs the gun that lies next to me.

"Still got that fire in you baby" he smiles before grabbing onto my hair and dragging me up.

His mouth closes around mine and I nearly gag. He pushes me up against the wall and kisses down my neck. I push at his shoulders and cry as he makes no move to stop.

"Round 6?" he asks and I shake my head. He smiles and lifts up his shirt. He cups my centre and plays with my slit.

"Sure bout that?" Im soaking wet and he slips a finger inside of me.

"No more" I push him away and he grabs my hair.

"I don't give a shit about what your mouth says. I know what your cunt wants" he kneels before me and licks me slowly. I grab his head and aim to push him off but instead, I allow him to do as he pleases.
