Body By Summer Walker

"His favourite colour is purple...I don't want to match. I want to stand out" I tell Frost as he picks up a dull purple fabric.

We have been here for the past hour trying to decide what I should wear for Jacks big debut. We've been out since the morning running tests at the doctors building so i've made myself busy with shopping to ignore all of the questions bouncing in my head.

She had prescribed me birth control pills, which only makes senses seeing as how my pregnancy test came back negative.

Not one person has yet to take a second glance at me, my skin is a different colour and so is my hair, not to mention i've also added on dark glasses to cover my eyes. It should be fine.

"See now that's way too bright" I reject the yellow that he tries to hand me and he rolls his eyes.

"What exactly are you going for? Costume wise?" he asks me and I shrug.

"Something easy to work with, something I can run in, maybe even bulletproof..." I feel a royal blue piece of fabric but forget about it at the velvet material. Not very durable in rain.

"He said something last night when we were talking. He called me something but now I can't remember what" I lean against the table to think.

"A bitch" Frost says with a straight face and I turn to him.

"Yes! Thank you! Why hadn't i thought of that?" I ask rolling my eyes.

"It happens" he shrugs and I flip him off before yelling.

"Aha! A harlequin! I was a harlequin for halloween a few years ago but I doubt he remembers" he just stares at me.

"Its a play on words. Sounds like my name. Harley Quinn" I smile and he shrugs. I roll my eyes and I grab two rolls of fabric, one black and one burgundy.

I give the lady the measurements and she hands me the fabric that I then take to cash.

"It's not enough but it's something to start with" I tell Frost before we walk out of the shop satisfied with my purchase.

"Now what?" He looks over at me and I smirk.

"I have an idea"

"You think he'll like it?" I ask Johnny as we get back in the car. I clip the seatbelt and we take of back home.

"No doubt" he tells me and I laugh.

"You probably think i'm crazy" he shakes his head.

"Never questioned it" I smile and look out the window.

"It's just...there's history, you know? He did me wrong but that's in the past...everyone deserves a second chance, right?" I look up at him but he doesn't meet my glance. I breathe out and tap my fingers against the my leg.

"What did the doctor say?" he asks me, and it's a question i've been dreaded to answer. I hadn't even told Jack about the mini heart attack I was suffering in while waiting for the results.

It's been killing me to keep this quiet. Maybe I should go back to therapy. Just to have someone to talk to.

"You have to promise not to say anything to Jack—I mean Joker. Not a word" I plead and he side glances me before nodding. I breath out a sigh of relief.

"Im late. Like so incredibly late on my period. And you know him, he never fucks with protection—"

"Actually it's just you" my eyebrows furrow.
