Screaming was the first thing Keith heard when he landed the pod.
"WHAT DID YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING?"
"Did you manage to get Lance back?"
"GENERAL VAZ MIGHT HAVE SEEN YOU!"
"General Vaz is dead...." Keith walked out of the pod carrying Lance bridal style. His face was a mixture of sadness, happiness and anger.
"What?" Shiro asked bluntly, no one else knew what was going one and was just staring at the Galran.
"Can we not talk about this right now?"
"Fine but your giving us an explanation later.... what happened to Lance?"
"I got the antidote for whatever they gave him, the love thing should be cleared up but he might not remember anything for a couple Vargas..." He glanced down at the sleeping Paladin longingly

Lances eyes opened slightly as he let out a groan. He felt arms wrapped around him and heard voices, but they weren't any he recognized.
He glanced up to see a someone with purple skin, completely yellow eyes, giant bags under them, and fluffy black ears on top of his head. He looked to his right to see three other individuals; A small girl with circular glances, short dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. To her left was a older man with black and white hair and a scar across his nose. Lastly, beside the scarred man was someone with dark skin, black hair with a yellow headband tied through it.
"W-Who are you people?" He managed to speak though his throat felt a little sore.
"The five Paladins of Voltron" The oldest one spoke, maybe the leader?
"Five? But there's only four of you?" The purple boy holding Lance bit his lip as if the fifth Paladin was a touchy subject.
"Lance isn't here.... we were hoping you could step in for him" The smallest Paladin answered, her voice had a tinge of sadness.
"Oh okay...."
"Could you take him to h- Lances... room?" The black and white haired man looked at the guy holding the confused Paladin.
"Y-Yeah.... sure...." He asked, setting the blue eyed boy on the ground "Follow me..." The purple guy began walking so Lance followed.
"Hey uh why are you purple?"
"Oh I'm... half alien..."
"Oh....."

The trip was silent after that, until they walked up to a door leading to a bedroom.
"Uh thanks...."
"Keith..."
"Thanks Keith I'll see you around!"
Lance sighed and walked into his room as Keith walked away. He looked over to the bed, seeing a brown jacket with a white hood...It seemed familiar somehow...
"Familiar... why is this so familiar?" He looked around once more, getting a faint feeling of déjà vu.
"Familiar... like something I used to know..."
"Familiar, staring up at the ceiling..." He looked up seeing some glow in the dark stars stuck to the roof (space malllll cuz I love stories with the stars)
"Familiar.... I swear that I know this feeling...."
"When everybody wants me to be Lance..." He thought back to the fifth Paladin... he must've been a big deal...
"But comparing is it seems I have no chance...." He continued exploring the bedroom, trying to figure out why it seemed like he'd been there before.
"I'll sway them with a joke or with a song.... and maybe that'll help us get along..."
"Familiar... why is this so familiar....familiar, like something I used to do" There was some kind of structure made of pillows and blankets in the middle of the room... a Fort???
"Familiar..... He used throw a tantrum... insisting that... hey I'm a Paladin to...." he thought back to the missing blue Paladin Lance.... where was he?
"I bet he drove them crazy all the time... they love him but they're leaving him behind..."
"With more important places they should be..."
"Than hanging out with someone just like...ME!"He noticed a picture on the desk, it was of the other Paladins and....him.
It all came rushing back
"Familiar! That's why it's so familiar!" He let out a soft chuckle at all the memories
"Familiar, like someone I used to be!" How could he not notice before? He was Lance McClain, the blue Paladin!
"Familiar... but this time I've had some practice!" He slipped on his jacket and felt like he was home again
"At helping a struggling family" He looked at all the other pictures and remembered something...
Keith.... he needed to get to him! He needed to help him!
"Oh I'll get them all together in one place!" He sprinted out the door, running around the castle in hopes of finding him.
"And once we're all together face to face!" Keith wasn't in his room, where could he be?
"We'll show them all the error of their ways!" He heard the clash of swords coming from the training room and ran even faster
"AND STOP THEIR SPREAD OF TERROR ACROSS... SPACE!!!!" He opened the doors faster than he ever had.... the only thing on his mind was Keith.
"End training sequence!"
