One month later
It's been about a month since Keith joined the Paladins of Voltron, best decision hes made. Allura isn't as cold to him anymore, but she still doesn't trust him completely.
Currently the Paladins have been staying on a planet similar for earth for a few days now and surprisingly there's been no attacks.

Lance was sitting in the control room, thinking about earth.
I wonder how Mamá and Papá are doing.... Veronica, Mateo, Abuela, Sofia even Señor Pablo. I don't even wanna know how long its been since I've seen them! They probably forgot ab-
"Mind if I sit with you?" Lance was broken from his thoughts by an all too familiar mullet headed Galra
"Y-Yeah of course" Lance scooted over slightly to make room.
"What's earth like?"
"It's... actually similar to this planet, all different kinds of people roaming around, beautiful all the time"
"It sounds amazing... your lucky to have grown up in such a great society" Keith clenched his fists and looked down. As the Galra finished talking Rover flew into the control room.
"Hey Rover" Lance waved as the robot flew beside him and toward the Balmeran crystal
"Wait... wheres Pidge?" He looked back only to see the robot turn red and start beeping, catching Keith's attention.
"KEITH LOOK OUT!" Lance warned tackling Keith to the ground for safety.
💜Shiro💜
A shake ran through the castle shutting down the power and alerting the other Paladins. They all ran to the control room to see what was happening. Shiro slams the door open and they all run in to the smoke filled room.
Shiro runs up to a coughing Keith struggling to stand up.
"What happened?!" Shiro and Hunk try to help the red Paladin up.
He sighed"I-I'm not sure..." They all look further into the room, the smoke starting to clear.
"The crystal!" Allura gasped and began to run toward the exploded crystal, but stopped when when she saw Lances unconscious body on the floor.
"LOnce!" Everyone's eyes watered when he saw the blue Paladin sprawled on the ground, badly injured and unconscious.
Keith lifted Lances head "Lance? Lance!" all he received was a faint groan from the injured Paladin.
"We have to get Lance to the infirmary!" Pidge called to everyone.
"Without the crystal the castle has no power!" Allura replied, still focused on the injured Lance in Keith's arms.
Keith sighed looking down at his friend "He doesn't look good"
"We have to get a new crystal to get the castle working again, but to get a new crystal we need a ship" Coran twirled his mustache.
"The pod me and Lance came in! It's not connected to the castle, it should work!" Keith replied, small tears forming in his eyes
"I can use the scanner on the ship to see if there's a Balmera near by, Hunk! you come with me, I'll need someone big to help me carry the crystal" The male Altean turns to the yellow Paladin.
Hunk looked at him questionably "A Balmera?"
"It's where the crystals come from, I'll tell you about it on the way" The two of them ran out.
