Gone
Naruto
After I found out Boruto had cheated, I just snapped. I felt like it was my fault he did it. Like if he wanted to get revenge against me. I didn't look at him just now, because if I did I know I would forgive him. I wanted to teach him a lesson, but it was eating me up inside.
I tried to focus on the work I had in front of me. It was different since all I could think about was Boruto. I think what I said was too far. After thinking for a while, I decided to go talk to him.
I walked home and headed up toward his room. I quietly knocked on the door, but heard no response. "Boruto, can we talk?" I asked, leaning against the door. But I still heard bo answer from him. "I'm sorry, okay. I wanted to be mad at you, but what I said was too far."
After not hearing another response, I decided to open the door. I entered his room and looked around. He wasn't there.
"Boruto!" I yelled, looking around the room for him. I saw that some of his things were missing. I noticed the pictures facing down. Under them was a letter. I opened it up and read this.
I'll prove I'm not a disappointment. I'll be back, don't look for me. ~Boruto
Tears filled my eyes. He isn't a disappointment. Guilt flushes over me, this is all my fault. I should have just talked to him and worked this all out. I ran out the room and woke up and told Hinata what had happened.
She almost fainted from shock as she cried my arms. I assured her that I would find, and bring him back. I promise I will.
I called up many shinobi and made it top priority to find Boruto. I also got in contact with other villages informing them of this. If any of them saw him, they would inform me immediately.

As the days passed, I became more relentless. We had no leads on where he could be. Hinata was in a bad place too, I hated seeing her like that. Breaking the news to himawari was even harder.
Sasuke was even looking for him too, but had no leads as well. It's like he vanished into thin air.
The few days turned into weeks, and then eventually months. Many had started to lose hope, but I will not stop until he comes home.

Boruto
It's been three months since I left. I'm hoping the village has given up looking for me. In order for me to get stronger, I can't have any distractions. So far I've been able to master the rasengan on my own. It was written in a book, and I followed it.
I've also improved my combat skills, I can't rely on my powers all the time. Taigustu is really important too, and it will make me stronger. I practice this with log targets I made a while ago.
It is always hard to go out. I almost got caught once, while I taking a shower in the waterfall. I heard a group of people, and I was lucky to be in the noisy waterfall. That's canceled out any chance of me being caught.
I can't take that much risk anymore. That's why I only go out to shower. I told myself that after two years I would go out. I would look different. It would be a look more easier to get supplies.

Naruto
It's been a year and three months. Many people had told us to give up, and just wait for him to return on his own. But I promised Hinata I would bring him back as soon as possible. Everyday I still send a couple shinobi out to patrol the area.
