Boruto.

I was shocked as I looked at Shikadai. I have not seen him since our last fight, which didn't really end well. "What are you doing here?!" I yelled at him and walked over to where he was.

"I could ask you the same thing. I was teleported here by some weird looking men." Weird looking men? I had no idea what he was talking about, but my shock was still very evident.

"Is everything in the village okay? It's weird to see that you were sent here for no real reason." Our Sasuke asked and Shikadai gasped.

"So this is where you were. I was wondering why you weren't apart of the mission the seventh gave us. And I'm not sure. Those men were strong and seemed to be planning an attack. The sooner we get back, the better." I started to get nervous as he said this.  I know that I have do return if there is a real threat. However, I'm sure if I'm ready yet.

"Sasuke... When do you think we can get back." He looked at me a bit confused. I grunted and turned away from him. It's not like I want to go back, I just don't want people to get hurt.

"I would need two days to fully rest, but the village meeting is tomorrow at noon. If they are planning an attack, it would be there. But I don't think I have enough strength to send every one of us back.

This was a serious issue. If the threat had the power to send him back in time, then it means they are connected to my eye. They could be the key to all of this and I need to track them down. "If you need chakra, can't I just give you some."

"It doesn't work that way. Only I can do it." I cursed under my breath. At this rate, we are all screwed. But then I stopped and thought about something. I turned over and looked at the younger Sasuke and Itachi. They could probably give their chakra.

"I don't know if this can work, but it's the only thing I got." They all looked at me with confused stares. "Itachi... Other Sasuke... Can you guys give chakra? You are him. And you are his blood brother. If anyone can give it, it's you guys."

"How are you sure it will work?" I wasn't sure. It could be a complete fail for all I know. However, we will never know if we don't try it.

"It could work. It would be tricky, but it's the only thing you guys can do now." Shikadai said and the others agreed. Everyone seemed to be okay with this plan except for the younger Sasuke.

"Like hell, I won't give my chakra to you. I don't care what happens to the village, or any of you." The younger Sasuke was now getting on my nerves. It's weird to look at my Sasuke and then look at that Sasuke. If I didn't know any better, I would never guess they were the same person.

"Stop being stubborn, Sasuke. This is your future self you would be helping. You may not want to accept it yet but you have a responsibility to help them." Itachi told him but it didn't seem to work.

"Listen, I understand that you're confused and don't know what is going on. I know I promised you an explanation and I'm going to give it to you. Itachi did everything he did to stop a war. He did what he did to keep you alive because he loves you. Everything he had done up until now is for your sake. Do you really think your older self would be able to stand next to him if he wasn't a good person? You gave up your revenge after you lost to my father. He beat you and you finally realized that you were in the wrong. After that, you married my aunt Sakura and had Sarada. You travel around for the sake of our village. You love the village and care for your family. So that's why you are going to give your chakra and apologize to your daughter and wife. I don't care what you say on the matter. So get over there and apologize."

I was so fed up with him that I just couldn't help myself. He was being selfish even though he knew what the situation was and who these people were. I understand him though, I know that he is still very confused, but that doesn't excuse his behavior toward his own family.

"Is everything true?" Younger Sasuke asked Itachi and our Sasuke. They nodded and he lowered his head. "Fine, I'll give you my chakra. But I won't apologize... I can't." I was going to push him to apologize but it seemed to low of me to push him even more.

"Now that it is settled. How exactly do you guys plan on doing it? Transferring chakra I mean." Kakashi asked and I wondered that too. But I'm sure Sasuke or Itachi must know-how.

"It's not the transferring that is hard, it's the worry on whether or not he can handle it," Itachi said, referring to our Sasuke.

"I can handle it. I know I can, but it will take a couple of hours to do. And we would just barely make it on time. But if there is really a threat, I would be completely useless against them. This will have me knocked out for a couple of hours after we get there." If the threat is powerful, it will be here to defeat it without him but I'm strong too. This is my chance to show what I hadn't shown before. A technique I've been too scared to use up until now.

"We can handle it." I heard Sarada speak up as she came to stand next to me. She has also gotten a lot stronger too. Both of us, along with the rest of the village, should be enough to stop whatever villain presents itself in front of us.

"Count me in too, I'm not completely useless," Shikadai said and I laughed. This was a chance for the new generation to finally prove itself, it was time for us to prove that we aren't the weakling's people say us are. We are strong.

"Then let's get started. This will take a couple of hours so go train some more and get prepared. We will call you when we are really." Itachi said and we all nodded and left the room.

I looked over at Shikadai and tried to find a way to talk to him but before I could, he spoke up. "I missed you, you know. Even after what you did, I still missed your recklessness." He laughed and continued. "Sarada probably already told you this, but the village wasn't the same without you. It became more boring. For as much of a drag you were, you gave my life a little bit of excitement."

I felt even worse than I already did. I don't regret leaving, and I never will, but I do regret how it is that I left. I left and left everyone behind. I was being extremely selfish, to my own family especially. I never wanted to do this to them, but I just couldn't help it.

"I'm so sorry, Shikadai." He laughed and then hit my head in a playful way. I then laughed too.
