Truth
Boruto
We were continuing to walk. I was getting tired, even though we had only just started. After a bit more walking, we stopped to rest. I sat next to my dad and looked up at the sky. No one was speaking, which made it really awkward.
"Boruto, can we talk?" My dad asked me, and I nodded. "I would like to more about our relationship, why exactly we don't get along." I was glad he asked this, I wanted to talk to him too.
"Well, since your the Hokage, you never had time for us. I would pull pranks to catch your attention, but you still ignored me. I cheated at the chunin exams because I wasn't strong. I never got to train with you, only with my uncle Sasuke. You didn't want to see me after I cheated... You were disappointed in me, so I left." I answered bluntly, there was no point in beating around the bush.
"You would pull pranks to catch my attention? I used to do that too, but I guess I never told you... I also can't believe I didn't train with you, I really am different in the future." I haven't had a talk with my father for a long time. It feels... Nice?
"I know this won't change anything, but I'm sorry. For everything." He continued. I felt my eyes water a bit, but I stopped it. Thank you... Dad.
--------------
After a bit more talking, we stopped. He had told me about his childhood and about his sensei, pervy sage. It really changed my outlook on him, but now I just have to wait for my time father to tell me this too.
I was actually thankful that my eye brought me here. Even though I don't know how to get back, I like learning more about the past of Konoha. When and if I get back, I will try and master time control. That will make me even stronger than I am now.
I noticed shuffling in the forest, so I got up and walked toward it. But then, out of nowhere, a Chidori struck my dad. It was so fast that I barely saw who it was. I caught a glimpse of black hair and red eyes, it was my uncle. Everyone stood up and got alert.
I turned to see Sarada staring at her father, she didn't move or say anything. "Naruto!" I heard my aunt Sakura yell. She ran over to my dad and me and started to heal him.
More people appeared beside Sasuke. It was two guys and a girl. The guy with the sword launched himself at Kakashi and the others stood beside Sasuke in front of us.
"You still try and find me. Don't you understand that I won't return, I'll make that clear right now by killing you all!" Sasuke yelled and charged at us, but Sakura stopped him. She had knocked the wind out of him, I heard Sarada gasp. He got up immediately and smirked. "Sakura, you've changed. I wanted to start with Naruto, but I'll start with you."
Before he could strike her, I threw a Rasengan, catching them off guard. It disappeared, but then struck him. My father looked over at me in shock. Sasuke can't be mad at me, he was the one who told me to learn it. "I prefer you as my uncle and not a dick!" I yelled at him while pulling off my coat.
The large guy with orange hair charged at us too, but my dad stopped him. I got distracted and Sasuke managed to get a hold of me. "You piss me off more than the other blond." He said as he kicked me into a tree.
Sakura got in front of me and charged at Sasuke again, but this time he was prepared. He grabbed her by her neck and she groaned. "Mama!" I heard Sarada yell, she had tears in her eyes as she watched her dad strangle her mom.
Sasuke paid no attention to this and continued to tighten his grip. I tried to get up but my side was bleeding. Kakashi was still occupied by the other and so was my dad. If Sasuke continued this, he would kill her.
"Sharigan!" Sarada yelled as she activated her eyes. Sasuke turned and widened his eyes at this. Sakura used this to escape his grasp and push him back.
"How do you have the Sharigan!?" He yelled and ran toward where Sarada was. She was frozen in place, probably traumatized from seeing her father like this.
"You tried to kill me the first time you saw me too... Papa." He froze now too. "I... I can't forgive you for this!" She cried out, coming face to face with him. "Fireball Jutsu!" She waved the hand signs and a gust of fire came out.
Just as she was doing it, he countered immediately by doing the same jutsu. "You called me Papa and Sakura your Mama. What do you mean by this?"
"Your my dad, and Sakura is my mom. I'm from the future." He stared at her for a second before laughing. He grabbed her by her neck while she was distracted.
"Do you really think I would believe bullshit like that. I would never have a kid with Sakura." He said disgustedly, causing Sakura to gasp. "And I most defiantly wouldn't want a daughter."
"You dick!" I yelled at him, trying to get up from my injury. "How can you say that about your family." He looked over at my direction.
"If this nonsense is true, then your Naruto's kid. I knew there was a reason I hated you a first glance." He didn't lose his grip from her neck at all. In any case, he tightened it. "I guess I got desperate in the future. I might as well do my future self a favor and kill this girl."
He used his free hand to create a Chidori. I forced myself to get up and run toward where she was. I was trying to run as fast as I could but I wasn't running fast enough.
I tried to activate my eye, but it wasn't working. Out of all the times, my eye decides to not work, this was the worst. I noticed Sarada start and close her eyes. I can't let her die, especially not by the hands of her own father.
Everything suddenly happened in slow motion. I continued to run, but I knew I wouldn't make it. I forced myself to keep going but then...
"Chidori!"
"Sarada!"
