Raina's POV.
When Luke and Raina got back to Coruscant they immediately headed to the palace. They met Winter by the staircase.
"Welcome back!" She smiled.
"Hello, Winter. Is Leia around?" Luke asked.
"She is. She's in the sitting room."
Raina tilted her head. "The sitting room?"
Winter nodded. "Mhmm. I'll take you to her."
They all went up the grand-staircase.
"How is she doing? Is she alright?" Luke asked his sister's lady in waiting and childhood best friend.
"She's fine. Just a little tired. I think the pregnancy is starting to weigh on her."
"Well, at least there's only a month left." Raina said.
"Yes, and then comes the sleepless nights and early mornings." Winter reminded.
They finally came to the sitting room to find Leia sitting in a chair sewing.
"Leia?" Winter called.
"Yes?"
"Your brother and sister-in-law are here."
Leia smiled when she saw them. "Luke, Raina!"
She reached out her hand. They both walked over to her. Luke held her hand and leaned down to kiss her cheek, while Raina leaned down and hugged her.
"So how did it go? I'm assuming well."
The couple sat down on the couch. "It did. Very well, actually. The Gungans have agreed to make peace again with the Naboo."
Leia smiled in relief. "Thank goodness! Thank you both for going. I guess I just haven't been up to traveling lately."
"It's no problem. Really." Luke assured his sister.
"Yeah. Anytime you need some help just let us know." Raina added.
Just then a loud mechanical voice spoke up. "Master Luke! Mistress Raina! How good to see you both again!"
Luke smiled. "It's good to see you too Threepio."
"You know I would have willing gone along with you if you would have needed my assistance. I am quite qualified for those types of things."
"Thanks Threepio, but I think we managed pretty well on our own." Raina grinned.
"Ah. Yes. I see. Well, personally I was relieved you did not request my assistance. I did enjoy watching over Princess Leia. She hasn't been feeling like usual, the last week. I hope there's nothing wrong."
Leia sighed, obviously agitated with the Golden droid. She hid it well, though. "I'm fine, Threepio. Thank you. And I do believe we all acknowledge your loyal unwavering assistance in my condition."
"Ah yes. Of course. I am your humble servant, Princess."
"Thanks. Would you mind,. . .uh. . ."
Luke saw Leia was searching for an excuse to get the droid to leave, so he cleverly came up with one for her. "Hey, Threepio? Would you mind watching our speeder for a bit? I wouldn't want anyone steeling it."The droid perked up quickly and gave an affirmative nod. "Of course, Master Luke!"
After he left Leia let out a loud sigh of relief. "Oh my stars! Thank you!" She exclaimed.
Both husband and wife laughed light-heartedly
"He won't leave me alone! I know Han's worried about me, but having that droid constantly watching my every move. . . Not to mention he never stops talking. . .I feel like I'm about to lose my mind!"
