Confronted

Raina's POV.

Raina sat in her bedroom on the bed staring out the window. Anger coursed through her veins. She had to tell Luke. She had to. He always felt something off about Annalisia. She never listened to him. If she would have just listened to Luke their baby would be alive. Why though? Why had Annalisia wanted to kill their baby? Nothing made sense.

Raina stood and walked out of the bedroom. She had to find Luke. As she was walking down the ramp she heard voices.

"We came as soon as we heard Master Luke." It was Jacen and. . .
"Yes. It's just awful I can't even imagine."

. . .Annalisia.
How dare she come to the temple.
Raina wanted to scream and confront her, but now. . .who knew what she was capable off. She couldn't tell Luke now. Not in front of them. What if she found out Luke knew and tried kill either of them? She had to act as though she didn't know. She would find a way to tell Luke later.

Raina walked over to them.

As soon as Annalisia saw Raina she ran to her. "Raina!"

Raina stiffened at first, but composed herself and hugged the witch back. "Lisia."

"We heard what happened. I'm so sorry. Master Skywalker tells us you were poisoned?"

Raina glanced at Luke. Now she definitely couldn't say anything in front of her.

"Yes. I was."

"How awful? Do they know who did it?"

Raina shook her head. "No they don't."
'But I do.' She thought.

"Well I'm sure they will know soon. And if they don't find out, I'm sure you and the Jedi will."

"Yes. We will." Raina said firmly.

Lisia gave a sad fake smile.

At dinner they all sat at the same table in the cafeteria. Raina barely ate. In the middle of conversation Raina stood.

"I'd you'll excuse me. I am extremely tired. I will be going to bed now."

Luke stood and kissed his wife on the cheek.

'I need to tell you something in secret, Luke. Come to the room of a thousand fountains when you can get away.' She said to Luke through the Force.

He looked at her in confusion.

'Don't say anything.'

He soon smiled. "Goodnight dear. I'll be up soon."

Raina nodded and said goodnight to the others. After she left she went to the room and sat on a rock by a waterfall. She decided to meditate for a bit to calm herself. She hadn't known how long she had been there, but she soon felt her husband's presence.

"Luke."

"Darling? Honey, what's going on?"

She stood and turned around meeting his worried eyes. She straightened up and set her jaw in anger. "I know who poisoned and killed our baby."

"You do? When did you find out?" Luke asked, approaching her.

"Today."

"Who is it?"

Raina stated at him. "Annalisia."

Luke blinked. "What?"

"Yes. I know it's shocking, but it's true. They told me I was poisoned by something put in the faux wine. The chemical reaction that occurred was the same as what happened to our baby. The only person giving me the faux wine was-"
