Raina's POV.
A year had passed since Breha had been born. When Leia and Han had taken her back to Coruscant Ben was immediately awe struck. He couldn't believe she was his little sister. From that moment on he became more and more protective of the baby girl. He loved her greatly.
Many times he would go to Leia or Winter and ask to feed Breha. He absolutely loved to entertain her while she was sitting in her high chair. He would stand in front of her for a while just making silly faces to try and make her laugh. Every time without fail she would go into a fit of giggles that would make Ben's face light up. There was no doubt about it he loved his sister very much.
Leia and Han found comfort in the fact that he wasn't behaving as many older siblings would. The, 'I don't have any of the attention anymore,' attitude. Instead he encouraged his parents and others to pay attention to his baby sister.
On another note the temple like usual was doing well. There was a problem recently though. It seemed that with all the hustle and bustle on the planet and the New Republic constantly trying to get involved with the Jedi. . .Luke was gradually getting weary.
The planet was already different from what he was comfortable with, but now all of the sudden it had become the New Republic's central hub again. People ago were free and no longer scared of the Empire were moving to Coruscant all the time. The market places had become louder and more crowded.
With the Jedi doing so well the New Republic believed it was their job to give the temple things to do especially since it was so close to the capital. Many of the others likes the busy atmosphere of Coruscant, while others saw it as a distraction. Luke was one of those people. Truth be told he was extremely tired of all the politics. Living on Coruscant you couldn't get away from it even as a Jedi.
Recently Raina and Luke had been on Yavin to help introduce some of the Jedi and Padawan to flying. The group included Raina, Trist, Dirk, Darin, Tara, and Alyva along with som younger Palawan who hadn't had experience in flying.
The head master's had wanted to do so early on, but were never able to get permission from the New Republic to get actual rebel pilots (or now New Republic pilots) to instruct them. While on Yavin Luke expressed to his wife just how at peace he felt on the planet. Raina couldn't disagree with him. He could also feel a strong presence of the Force throughout Yavin. Raina knew that Yavin had always been one of Luke's favorite places in the galaxy along with Naboo.
Yavin had one thing that Naboo didn't, though. Quiet. Complete privacy from the roaring, clamorous galaxy outside. Many of the Jedi liked it there as well. Some said they felt even more connected to the Force. Sadly their time on Yavin had to come to and end and they all returned to the temple on Coruscant.
Almost as soon as they arrived Luke was asked by Leia to accompany her to Geonosis. She was going there to discuss negotiations with the government to allow the New Republic to build their own factories there. It wouldn't be an easy task seeing as the Empire had placed factories there years prior and had eventually taken full control of the planet itself by gradually adding more and more of a military presence. Leia would have to gain their trust. She believed having the Grand Master along would help things along.
At first Luke refused, but after a couple days of dealing with his sister's persistent asking he relented. It wouldn't be such a bad thing since it would be Leia's first political mission away from the Core Planets since Breha's birth.
Ben was not happy with his mother leaving again after he had experienced her being home for a long period of time. He begged her not to go, but of course she had to. Winter was left to take care of the two young Solo's once again.
