     Text message galing kay Jayeanne.

Jayeanne : Tapos ka na ba sa practice niyo?

Mike :  Malapit na.  Bakit?

Jayeanne :  Sabay na tayong mag snack. Wala kasi si Eliz. Iniwanan ako. 

Mike :  Ahh...kaya pala naisipan mo akong yayain kasi wala si Kulit.

Jayeanne :  Hindi naman.  Kung ayaw mo di huwag.
Nakangiti habang nagti-text nang-aasar lang.

Mike :  Nooo...okay lang kahit second choice lang ako.
Kunwari nagtatampo.

Jayeanne : OA. Sige hintayin kita. Dito lang ako sa room namin. Alam mo na yun di ba?

Mike :  Yap.  Sige. Puntahan na lang kita dyan.  Malapit na rin itong matapos. Bye.

Jayeanne : Ok got it.  Bye.

     Busy na si Mike sa graduation nila.  They are practicing already.  Ako naman andito sa school dahil sa journalism club ko. Nagsa-submit ng written news ko. Kaya hindi pwedeng wala ako sa school everyday kahit wala na kaming klase.

     As time goes by.  Me and Mike are getting along well. Lalo namin nakikilala​ ang isat-isa.
We eat together everytime   we are in school.  One time he visited me at my house and asked permission to my parents.  Invited me to watch a movie with him. Siguro dahil sa mabait naman siya at may tiwala ang magulang ko sa akin. Pinayagan ako with matching advice syempre. And tell them.  That is only a friendly invitation.  So they let me go.

     Masaya ako sa set up  namin ni Jayeanne.  Friend with mutual understanding.  Hindi nakakailang.  We respect each other.  Kaya harmonious ang aming samahan.  After graduation.  Magiging busy ulit ako.  Kasi magre-review ako para sa board exam.  My Dad told me to come with him abroad.  To work.  I didn't tell Jayeanne about it.  Ayokong malungkot siya.  Siguro later na lang.  Nagsisismula pa lang kami. Ayokong sumama ang loob niya sa akin.

      While waiting for him.  Naisip ko kung anong plano ni Mike after he graduate. Tanungin ko kaya.  Wag na lang nakakahiya baka sabihin niya nanghihimasok na ako sa buhay niya.  I just let him to tell me his plans after graduation. Tama!!

Graduation day......

     He invited me to attend his graduation but I came before the graduation ceremony ended.  Nahihiya kasi akong makigulo sa family niya. Time nila yun para magsama-sama.  So I just wait outside.

     Ayan...tapos na.  Aabangan ko na lang. 

Tootooot!!.  Text message.

Mike :  Where are you? Dito na kami sa labas.

Jayeanne :  I saw you already.  Ako na lang ang lalapit dyan.

Mike :  Okay.

     Malapit na ako sa kanila.  Kasama ni Mike ang Mommy​ at Daddy niya.

     "Congrats...".  Inabot ko sa kanya ang gift ko at tumingin sa parents niya.  "Hi po.  Congratulation po sa inyo. I'm Jayeanne, Mike's friend.  It's nice to meet you po".  Yumuko ako as a sign of my respect to them".

     "Nice to meet you din, iha". Sabi ng Mommy ni Mike.

     After our short meeting.  His parents invited me to his blow-out party.  But I decline.  I told them that I was here just to congratulate him and give my gift to him.  But I give my apology to them for declining their invitation and Mike understand why I do that.

     I want them to have privacy and it's a family gathering.  I told Mike earlier my reason that's why he doesn't insist when his parents invited me.

      Ang sakit ng ulo ko.  May hangover yata ako.  Nagwala talaga ako sa party.  It's my day kaya okay lang kila Mommy at Daddy na uminom ako hanggang​ gusto ko.  Sobrang saya.  Akala ko nga hindi uuwi si Dad but he really don't wanna miss my graduation.  And that is my gift for them for everything they've done to me.  Their sacrifices was paid off.  Yung gift ni Jayeanne hindi ko pa nabubuksan.  I just got up and clean first before I go down to have my late breakfast.  Before ko buksan yung gift sa akin ni Jayeanne.  I'm excited.

     I finally finished all the stuff I need to do.  Now I'm holding the gift. It's a small box with a blue colored wrapper and a bright color blue ribbon.  I'm so curious what's inside.  Slowly I open it.  It is a silver bracelet with my name engraved on it. A blue shirt with a big letter M printed out on the front.  When I took the shirt there's a letter under it.

     The letters says.....

For you Mike,
     Congratulations again.  Sorry if I can't go to your party. Maybe next time.  I know that your very happy because your Dad was there. It's time to start a new chapter of your life. Most of all, I want you first to fulfill your ultimate goal in life.  I will pray for you.  If you need a friend I'm still here.  To listen, to comfort you when you're having troubles and even when you're happy.
     I'm just a text away if you need someone to talk with.
     I'm happy for you. Congratulation again.

     After graduation me and Jayeanne never had the chance to see each other.  We were both busy with our papers and of course my documents for my board exams and other important paper to prepare for my application. We also never had a chance to text each other.  She knows how busy I am.

     My parents told me that we will have a vacation.  So we prepare for the things that we will bring.  I texted Mike that we're going to have a vacation for the whole summer.  That's why I can't go to school to see him.  I know he's busy so I didn't bother him.  When we texted last time.  He told me to have a nice and enjoyable vacation.  I replied thank you and I said good luck to him.

Finally, we meet up. We talk about our future plans.  Mike told me na sasama siya sa Daddy niya pagbalik nito sa Australia.  Kumpleto na ang mga papers niya abroad.  Doon muna sya magtatrabaho.  Habang naghihintay ng board exam.  Doon na rin siya magrereview.  Sabi ko nga sa kanya it's his chance na ma experience working abroad di na siya mahihirapan and also his Dad is with him.  Ako naman eh magiging busy na rin kasi graduating na. Okay na ang setup namin.  Secure our future first.  We promise to have communication even were apart.  As long as we know what we want and understand each other.
