I skipped through the hallway of the third floor of my office building. I saw Nick, one of my colleagues, on my way, making me halt. He smiled at me, "Someone seems really happy."

"Just having a good day." I smiled back at him.

"Well, not want to ruin your mood but, our News Director wanted you to meet him in his office." He informed me, scrunching up his nose expecting me to snarl.

But I shrugged. Unlike any other day, having to witness that oldie's face didn't vex me. "No worries. I'll be going then. See ya." I made my way towards my boss's office. I was indeed really merry, not only today but for the past few days. From the time we got our hands on that CCTV footage, my life seemed to be joyous again.

Druv was attending all the meetings with Bincy now, even on his most busy days, while I was allotted with all the works within the FCC building. It was good to stay within the safe boundaries of the office and seeing Ryan every minute or so was just a bonus.

I had been ignoring all the calls from Bincy for two weeks now. That douchebag wouldn't leave me alone though. But who cares? The four of us planned to get him sued soon.

Druv suggested that we should present the evidence in front of all in the monthly held meeting of the FCC, which was after three days. He had the gut feeling that if we took this matter to our Head Office, Bincy would somehow convince them, by bribing of course, and get his way out of it. And I didn't want that dickhead to even think of any other woman as his toy to play with again. I wanted him to know that, if needed a woman can send him back to hell from where he actually came from. I wanted to ravage his name and let everyone know what kind of monster he was. So we all decided to wait till that meeting.

On reaching in front of the cubicle, I knocked softly on the glass door, which was followed by a calm 'come in' from inside.

As I made my way inside, I noticed that our News Director was engrossed in the mails on his laptop. I sat on one of the chairs across his desk. He didn't even looked up at me to acknowledge my presence and simply continued to type something. I took a moment to look around his cabinet, which was as boring as the owner himself in front of me. The walls were decorated with portrait of some social leaders and the shelf beside him was stuffed with awards, one of which was our 'The Best News Hub' award. I smiled to myself, as a feeling of proudness washed over me.

The rest of the room was kept untouched with its white paint. How can he not feel sleepy sitting here all day? I wondered.

Finally he looked up, shutting off his laptop and resting his arms on the desk as he shifted his full attention on me. "Sneha, I called you for two purposes,"

I nodded for him to continue. "First, I want the report file of all our interns."

Report file? Great, I don't even know if I had started working on it. He continued despite of my shook expression, "I assume you were busy. But I want it to be on my desk by the end of today's working hours."

"I'll submit it, sir." I tried to sound as convincing as possible.

He hummed in response, even though I think he didn't believe my words completely. I took it as my sign to leave, as I got up from my seat.

"I'm not done yet." He looked up at me, sternly. I got edgy as I sat back.

He sighed, taking up a friendlier expression. "The second reason for me to call you was that," he leaned back on his chair, hands resting on the armrest, "I wanted to personally invite my staff members to the Annual Get-Together of the Media Channels. This year it's special because we are the ones throwing this party. So, I'll really appreciate your presence there with your date tonight."
