Back To Original POV

Its been quite some time since we last crossed each other's path.
Its very unusual of him.
Nowadays Ryan won't come to me, trying to make some conversation. Neither would he say anything in the corridors even when we accidentally bump into each other. He would rather sit in his cabin or in our canteen while his eyes would be pinned on the laptop screen, on which he seemed to be typing something.

Either he got really busy nowadays or he is purposely avoiding me.
But the chances of the latter one seemed more high.

Why is he avoiding me?

I shook my head. What do I care? Do whatever you want Mr. Ryan Sharma!

I focused back on my work. There was so much to do!
Recently, some big national ceremony was being held in our states. Hence, we all had our schedules packed in order to cover that event.
I made my way out looking for our Chief Manager, he had asked me to meet him a while ago. As I was going towards his office, I fortunately spotted him in the corridor only.

"Sir, you called me?" I asked as I greeted him first.

"Yes. Sneha would you mind going to our sponsors for a meeting in place of me?" He asked as his eyes were still on the file, he was working on. "I do have a lot of work, I don't think I can make up to there. And you know these meetings are really important." He finally looked up at me, wanting some assurance.

"Yeah, yeah. I completely understand and its fine, I'll go." I assured him. "When is the meeting?"

"In an hour." He stated, "You should leave now or else you would get late."

I nodded, already stepping towards my cabin to pack my stuffs.

"Wait. How will you go?" He asked, concerned. "How did you came to office this morning?"

"Oh, yes. We car-pooled today." I realized that I didn't brought my car.

"Then how will you reach the office for the meeting?" He looked more troubled now.

"It's okay. I'll manage. I'll call the cab-"

He doesn't let me finish, "No. Its not okay. You're doing a favor to me. I should at least take care of your transport."

And before I could say anything more, his eyes darted behind me, "Ryan." He waved at the person.

I looked back reflexively.

He was coming towards our direction. And as soon as my eyes falls on him, he looked at the other side, avoiding eye contact.
He comes, standing next to us.

"What's up Druv?" he said, completely ignoring my existence.

"You already off?" He asked. These two seems quite close.

"Yup. You still have works to do?" He said casually, as if I wasn't even standing there!

"Unfortunately yes." He nods his head disappointedly. But then something clicks him, "Hey! You're heading towards home, right? Why don't you drop Sneha at our sponsor's office? It's on your way!" He asked hopefully.
