Ryan's POV

Seeing them on my front door, I opened my mouth to ask Druv and Avni about whatsoever brought them here.

But Avni shoved me side and marched straight into the front room. I stood there perplexed watching her back. Druv came over to me, "We heard Sneha's here?"

I looked at Druv, eying him, "Yeah, she stayed the night with me. Why? Is there some trouble?"

Druv sighed, shaking his head as he came into the house too, "We been worried about her after hearing the news."

I nodded as I followed Druv inside, closing the door behind me. As we reached the living room, we heard Avni frantically calling for Moon.

"She's in the bathroom." I sighed looking at Avni's agitated self.

As if on cue, Moon appeared from behind the doors, looking dumbfounded. But before she could even collect herself together, Avni ran to her to engulf her in a hug.

"I couldn't see you after I called you to FCC and I got so worried. God knows how I kept all the ill-thoughts at bay." Avni mumbled into Moon's shoulder, holding her close to herself.

"She was taken to the police station for inquiry. She had somehow become the prime suspect of Bincy's murder attack." I said quietly, looking with a soft gaze at both the girls.

"Prime suspect? Are you kidding me?" Druv frowned, baffled by my statement.

"They searched Bincy's phone apparently and it seems like they had got that clip of me and Moon together at his office. And now they had made up this theory of Moon attacking Bincy cause he got to know about... about..." I hesitated to say those words, still hard for me to accept that people can think of this lowly.

"About me trying to seduce Ryan for money and promotion and all." Moon completed the sentence for me, keeping a straight face as she broke the hug.

"As if!" Druv scoffed.

"Trust me, if Sneha had to attack Bincy for anything, that monster wouldn't be in the ICU right now, I would have helped her to make sure he ended up straight in his grave!" Avni rolled her eyes, exasperated as she slumped into the couch.

Moon climbed up and sat next to her, while me and Druv kept standing facing both of them.

"What if someone is doing all this on purpose?" Druv spoke, almost as if to himself.

I raised my eyebrow, indicating him to elaborate.

He continued, "I can't ignore this fact that all this might be someone's planning. Someone might be trying to frame Sneha wrongly on purpose."

"And that someone could be the person who tried to kill Bincy." Avni added.

"Stop it guys. You're over thinking this." Moon stood up, not liking how this was turning up.

"And what if it's true?" Avni looked up at her.

"You're right. If by any chance this comes to be true, that will mean that Moon's in danger too." I shudder at the thought.

"You should regard your safety, Sneha" Druv demanded, looking at Moon.

"No way I'm letting you alone. You're staying here with me till this entire thing sorts out." I made my way towards her only to hold both of her hands and look at her eyes closely, "I wanna keep you safe at all cost. I promised that to your mom too."
