"Can I please get your attention, guys?" The MC spoke from the stage, as we head inside the hall again.

Ryan and I looked at the man holding the microphone, as all the crowds seem to halt their conversation among themselves. The man continued, "First of all, I'll really like to thank you all for taking out your precious time to attend this party tonight. Hope you all are enjoying here wholeheartedly." Everyone cheered by applauding.

Well, I am really enjoying this party. I smiled, looking at Ryan who was clapping as he looked ahead.

"Now, I'll like to welcome our honorable guest of tonight on the stage. Please give a big round of applause for Mr. Bincy Merchant and his wife!" The MC chirped, following another roaring sound of claps filling the hall.

Bincy? Oh no, oh no... This can't be happening!

I saw that man, whom I hatred the most to walk up to the stage with a lady beside him. Wait, Bincy is married?

That son of a bitch is married and still gets his filthy hands on other ladies. Seriously, my disgust for him just increased even more, if it was even possible.

I felt a hand gripping my arm. I looked at Ryan, who looked back at me with concern, "You wanna leave?"

I nodded. It's best if I don't confront this monster tonight. I don't wanna spoil my moment here.

Ryan briefly nodded, guiding me to the front door.

I could hear faintly, Bincy was speaking something up on the microphone, while people applauded again. If only the crowd knew. I sighed.

We almost stepped out from the hall, when someone called from behind, "Ryan!"

Ryan turned back, as I followed his gaze.

Our News Director was waving at us, trying to call us there. Damn, this oldie has some pathetic timing!

Ryan and I shared a look, before heading towards the elder.

"Hey, are both of you planning to leave the party? This soon?" He asked, once we reached him.

"Actually, I'm not feeling well suddenly. So, I think I should leave, otherwise I won't be able to host the next broadcast." Ryan responded, visually irritated.

"Oh, cheer up Ryan. It's off for all of us tomorrow. Stay a while longer. Plus, I need you guys to meet somebody. It won't look good if both my Senior Host and Assistant Manager went missing. Come, meet my friend here." He continued to piss me off, as he took hold of both of our hands and started dragging us towards a group of people, even though we kept on protesting against it.

"But-" Ryan insisted.

"Ah, come on. You can go after you meet him. He's a close friend." He kept pulling us with him.

I think, I know where this all is heading towards. And I am really not liking it.

"Bincy, this is my Assistant Manager, Sneha and the Senior Host, Ryan. You must have met them before; he's the guy whom you're sponsoring the show 'The News Digest' for." We finally reached to the bunch of people, who were chatting earlier but now had shifted their gaze on us.

I had had a really bad intuition about it. A shiver ran down my spine. Bincy glared at me, while Ryan's grip on my hand grew tighter.

"Oh, it's nice to meet you." Mrs. Merchant spoke.
