These white walls surround me, chains binding me to them. Freedom is non-existent. I am in here, while she is out there. She put me in this hell hole, and all I wanted to do was love her. The straight jacket on my body feels comfortable now, it's been 10 years now. 10 years since she shot me. 10 long years with out my Lily beside me.
I have but only pictures to look at, one of the nurses here takes them for me. I pay him handsomely to keep tabs on Lily while i'm in here. She's created a life for herself, a family and a career. She and that stupid boy got married, after she graduated college. My favorite picture I have of her is from her wedding day. She was stunning, an angel in white. The smile on her face is one I have never seen in person, but she is beautiful. The pictures surround me with the love she once gave me, and a love I will have again. I have picture a of her entering the school she teaches at, wearing a light blush colored dress, her tan skin and youthful eyes making it hard to believe she was almost 29. I also have one of her picking up her two blonde little girls from school. They look just like her, almost an exact copy, their blue eyes and bouncing curls making me love them. The next picture is one of a boy that stands next to her holding tightly to her hand. He was young, looking the age of 10, with hair black as night and a jaw sharp enough to cut with. He must be mine, my child. He looks like me but has her fun loving attitude, he's happy. Something I haven't been since I lost her.
If I had known she was carrying my child those years ago, I would never have let the monster beat her. I know now though, and I will have my family. Lily is my family, and her family will be mine. I will be the father to my son, and to her daughters, I will love them as my own. We will be together once more.
Now all I have to do is escape.
