SHENAIA's POV

Paika-ika akong pumunta sa kung saan sila nagkukumpulan sa harap ng dorm. What an attraction, the atmosphere is damn hot and orange. I saw Frances and Lauren so I approached them. "SHAIA?! ANONG GINAGAWA MO DITO?!" I almost got off my skin because of how loud her reaction is upon seeing me. "What do you mean, what am I doing here?" I raised an eyebrow on her. "It's Jeff! He went inside 'coz he thought you were still inside." And with what Frances said, I almost blacked out. I can't move my legs. Until I fell on my knees. I don't know if it was because of how I landed from my room's window or is it because of the thought that once again because of me, someone is in danger. It felt like my world shattered and it went on a slow motion. I can hear and feel Lauren and Frances Faith shaking me up but I felt numb. Like something inside consumed my feelings.

"Shaia! Wake up! Shaia!" That's the last thing I heard before everything went finally black.

White. That's what I saw the moment I opened my eyes. I sat and rested my head on my hands, like trying to remember what happened. I was awake, there was a fire, I jumped, Christian Jeff went to save me. Through the fire, fire, fire. The scary atmosphere of the fire attacked my consciousness, it was like a trauma. That hot, orange feel is invading my senses, I just can't stop thinking about it.

"Shenaia?" the whole gang is in the room. I didn't even notice. "Are you alright?" Charmmaine asked while caressing my hair. "Christian Jeff went to save me." I uttered to myself. "What happened to him?" I looked up to see Charmmaine eye to eye. "Psst" Wait was that Christian Jeff's 'Psst' I must be imagining but I just need to confirm.

It was him. It was truly him. Bumaba ako sa kama and went to his position. *SLAP* I slapped him hard enough for him to wake uo and realize how stupid he is. "What the hell Shein?!" He said while holding unto his cheek. "Never do that again. Never risk your life to save me. Do you understand?" I said, giving emphasis on every point I'm making. "Oh chill lang Shenaia is that how you express your gratitude?" tanong niya na parang naiinis. "With what you did, what did you achieve, huh? Answer me! We're you able to save me? We're you?!" Tinaasan ko na boses ko. I'm frustrated. "You could've just appreciated the effort, though. Tss." Sabi niya before leaving the room. Sinundan naman siya ni Natsume.

The twins and Luke were feeling awkward and just pretended that they haven't heard anything. They're all on their phones. On the other hand, I took my phone from the side table when accidentally natabig ko yung wallet ko. And what went out my wallet painted a puzzled look on my face. How the hell did that get in my wallet? I picked up the card. It was made of the same material of the card we got from the Gamble Knights. And I'm certain this is also from them because of the logo at the back of the card. A letter G and N... in a feather? The feather in the logo is new. And the words scribbled on the card was "The Angel of Death Failed. But see you soon." that sent shiver unto my spine.

They were too busy sticking their eyes on their phones that ai doubt they noticed me leaving the room. They brought me to the hospital. Well, my parents own this facility so there's no biggie even if I just treated this as a hotel because I just literally slept there and left immediately without telling anyone. I need a drink.

THIRD PERSON POV

Sinundan ni Natsume ang pinsang si Jeff noong lumabas ito mula sa kwarto ni Shenaia. Nakarating sila sa garden ng ospital kung saan walang katao tao. "Pagsabihan mo nga yang si Shenaia Clein, Natsu na matuto namang magpasalamat!" Pagrereklamo ni Christian Jeff. "And why would I do that?" Tanong naman ni Natsu sa nagbubulakbol na Jeff. "Kasi obviously, sayo lang siya nakikinig. You're the only one she listens to and the only one na makakaputol ng sungay niya." Sagot naman ng frat leader.

"Do you know why Shenaia follows what I say?" napaisip din si Jeff kung bakit nga ba? Nanatili lang itong tahimik.

"It's because Shenaia knows that I won't say anything that wouldn't make sense." Tinaasan naman ito ng kilay ni Jeff at nagtanong "Anong ibig mo sabihin dun?" naguluhan tila siya.
