Chapter 5

     Xander and I watch Day-day open all of her presents and loves them all. Wrapping paper everywhere. Xander and I sitting there laughing because if you gave day-day an apple shed be the happiest girl. She appreciates every little thing and she's only 8. I get bored of the party so I go up stairs and watch movies until Xander finds me.

"I love you, baby."He says

"I love you too." I say

"You okay?"

"Yea, why wouldn't I be?" I ask.

"Your not down stairs?" He says.

"Oh I just don't like people." I say

"Okay." He says watching memo with me.

"Okay well I have something to tell you."

"Sure cutie."He says and pauses.

."What's up, babe?" He asks.

"James is in town."

"So?"

"I don't want him getting between us."

"Why would he?"

"Cause he's crazy, he would kill my cat if she ever bit me:" I say.

"I would too." He says

"Oh my, your not getting the point."

"If he finds you, we never know what he will do to you."

"I love it when your scared, it's so hot" he says.

"Ugh, I never can have a serious conversation with you." I say

"I never can call you hot or beautiful without you flipping, you don't appreciate nothing." He says.

"I do to." I say:

"No you really don't."  He says.

"How don't I?" I ask.

"Never mind Lori, I'm not going to argue with you at my little sisters party." He says.

"Okay then don't, oh and James is coming then." I say.

"Oh two minutes ago you said you didn't wants him getting between us." He says

"That's before you became a total asshole for no reason." I say.

"You started it, Lori."He says I get up and get my shoes back on I grab my purse and keys.
I walk to my car. I get in and back out I go straight to James's dad: work. I walk in the coffee shop were he's supposed to be working and I go up to someone girl that works there and asks for him. She runs out back and gets him for me.

"Hey, Lori." He says

"Hey, will you do me a favor?" I ask.

"Anything." He says.

"Come to this party with me, and flirt with me and stuff?" I say.

"That will not be a favor, I would flirt with you anyway."he says.

"Haha. Okay so you will?" I ask.

"Yea let me ask then we can go" he says walking out back taking my hand so that I go it back with him. He tells his dad he forgot about a birthday party and his dad lets him leave. We both get into my car and go to the party. Everyone there, I walk over to Day-day as she's playing with presents and she runs up and hugs me. There's only one chair left everyone else is sitting.

Xander is staring at us but I try not to act like a care. I let James sit down in the chair and he pats his lap for me to sit in his lap. I sit down and he puts his hand on my thighs. I put my arm around his neck and watch Day-day open her present. James starts kissing me in the neck. I let him because it's so cute. It felt actually nice. Until Xander's mother comes over and is very concerned.

"He's gay, no worries." I lie.

"Okay hunny I don't want you hurting Xander." She says and walks away to go get some more wine. I get off of James's lap and he follows me to the swing set outside and Xander stays on the deck watching us.

Then we're over.

He goes back inside and I don't reply. We go up the the flag area to go down the slide but we just sit there and stare at each other.

"Why did you break up with me?" I ask.

"I was stupid." He says.

"You can say that again." I say we both laugh. Then he gets closer to me and we start making out. Weirdly I liked it. I push him away and tell I'm it was just to get him jealous and he is so we need to stop. But he doesn't and usually I make him stop but I really wanted it so badly.
