<26> Visit Jetty's Hometown
I ended my tour of the museum by visiting Earth Chamber twice. Even when I visited a museum on Earth, instead of taking a closer look at the exhibits, I would look briefly and pass by like window shopping. That may be because of my lack of knowledge of art and archaeology. Another reason is that most of the materials displayed there were familiar images of the human world. I thought it was enough to realize how planet people perceive the human world.
If I were an astronomer, I would have wanted to visit museums that displayed materials from other star systems. But I am not very interested in the celestial bodies where there is no life. Most of the stars would resemble the sun, and the planets would be similar to the rocky or gaseous planets in the solar system. In addition, Jetty's vacation time will be limited. The longer I spend in the museum, the less time to observe the outside world. I want to see how humankinds on this planet live and what environment Jetty grew up in.
Jetty guided me to a nearby park before visiting her hometown. With a 120-centimeter Gray accompanying a 160-centimeter White, witnesses would think a maiden lady walked out with her servant. It is a situation that hurts my pride, but it is also meaningful to appreciate the natural environment of the planet Merion. The sky was clear and the air smelled sweet. Jetty wore thin functional clothing that clung to her body. Even without changing her clothes, her body seems to be clean for a long time and able to adapt itself to changes in temperature outside.
The Star Merion is also dazzling. Although it is older than the Sun, it is still very active. Its size was similar to the Sun, and its brightness was also similar to the sun. The fact that Merion's sun is slightly off the vertical means it's not noon now.
"Where are we located on the planet? What time is it now?"
"The Space Exploration Headquarter is located in the exact center of the Northern Hemisphere. The time is now about 3 p.m. As the sun sets, the surrounding scenery will be more beautiful."
"Doesn't it get dark at night?"
"On Earth, it only shines when there is a full moon. But the night on this planet is always bright because the starlight is much brighter."
"Can we see with our naked eyes the other planets belonging to Merion Star System?"
"Yes, the planets of Merion Star System are so close that they can be identified by our eyes. With small telescopes, we can closely observe the outlines and the surface of the planets."
The surface of the planet was reddish. It appears to contain a lot of iron. That may lead to an abundance of precious metals. The park is densely packed with short shrubs and overgrown with grass. Many Whites are enjoying their walk in a well-kept park. Children are cute like dolls, and adults have slim bodies and sharp features. Although they look more like Westerners than Asians, they are small and thin. Young couples are also seen. Are they dating?
"How do young lovers express their love?"
"Some couples share a hobby together and other couples share physical affection in the low gravity chamber."
"Do you visit the low-gravity room with your boyfriend often?"
"I used to, but now I only love work at the Space Exploration Headquarter. I was fascinated by the various celestial bodies in the universe."
"Can you can have intense love in the low-gravity room?"
"Yes, because we feel lighter."
"Are all low-gravity rooms installed indoors?"
