In the early days of the war, the Antimon forces took an overwhelming lead. Instead of attacking all of the member countries of the Union, it focused on the Star Wars Corps and the core countries of the Northern Hemisphere. If the Antimon alliance deals with all the member states of the Union, their power will be dispersed and the possibility of victory will be reduced. Antimon would have sought division and internal strife among member states by not attacking less hostile countries.

Of the forty countries on the planet Merion, twenty-five belong to the Northern Hemisphere and 60 percent of the planet's population lives there. Although there is little difference between countries in terms of culture and economy, it is Antimon who led the development of planet's civilization. Antimon's attacks have centered on the Sumerion01 state, 03 state and 13 state in the Northern Hemisphere. These three countries have often clashed with Antimon since ancient times, leading the creation of the National Union. Other countries do not like Antimon's expansionism, but they are less hostile than the three countries. For this reason, Antimon Alliance did not directly attack those countries.

Antimon has long competed with the three powers of the Northern Hemisphere, maintaining a 'one super power and three powers' system. Before the founding of the National Union, it was common practice that a new high-tech technology was first developed in Antimon, three countries caught up with it and then spread it across the planet.

Planet people are homogeneous in many ways because they shared the benefits of science and technology in spite of the wide spread. There is only a slight difference in skin color. Planet people have long been guaranteed freedom of choice of residence, received similar education, and used one common language. Although the concept of a nation is slim on the planet, the people of Antimon and the northern three powers are proud to have led the development of the planet's civilization.

The equator is too hot on the planet Merion. For this reason, there are few people living in the 2,000-kilometer section around the equator, and only plants that are suitable for high temperature-high gravity are thriving. Countries that face the equator only use the area as arable fields of tropical grain. As a result, the equator has long served as a dividing line between the southern and northern hemispheres. Although there are now web-like complex transportation networks on the ground, underground and air, the northern and southern hemispheres were completely separated in ancient times.

As the war broke out, the National Union entered into a state of war and set up a situation room in the secretariat. Every day, military representatives from each country meet with officials of the Planet Defense Command to check war situations and come up with proper responses. The Star Wars Corps reports the war situation to the Director of the Secretariat every day. Member states are informed of the progress of the progress of the war through the situation room.
