<44> Meet Humans!

The newly launched Antimon government under the control of the National Union has begun demanding an early termination of the trusteeship and more discretion. They are restoring the destroyed infrastructure, industrial and space-related facilities. Antimon's space developers are rated the highest on the planet, most of whom are unemployed. Since the space development is Antimon's pride and future, it has been selected as the top priority for restoration. The Space Exploration Headquarters also insists that Antimon's space development personnel and their exploration skills should be preserved.

Antimon's new leaders will judge that the future is bright if they maintain outstanding talent and technological superiority. They wisely switched to an open-door policy for co-prosperity with other states instead of hegemony. Thus, Antimon's greatest talent started playing a pivotal role in the colonial development project.

The center created an indoor space that matched gravity to half the planet's surface, where the night lasts for 15 days and the day lasts for 15 days. There, humans and planets are trained to adapt to the environment of M-Globe satellite.

"Jetty, do you force grays and humans to move without asking for their opinion?"

"There were a lot of humans who were hoping to move to M-Globe. We will move the selected teams one by one. Migrants may be uncomfortable at first, but they will soon adapt. Grays were chosen based on their abilities. They're like robots, so they're not affected by night and day lengths and temperature differences."

"Did the humans born on this planet feel uncomfortable because of strong gravity?"

"They've adapted to the environment here, but they instinctively aim for a place that resembles Earth."

Finally, after training in the Sumerion18 state, the first team left for M-Globe. One thousand settlers were divided into five teams, half of whom were humans and the rest were Grays, and boarded the spacecraft one by one. Over the next two years, five thousand humans and five Grays will move to M-Globe.

Migrants boarded the spacecraft from the restored Antimon Space Station. They arrived at the Merion 4 base camp and then moved to M-Globe. The secret base of the Merion4 planet, built by Antimon forces, has been turned into a base camp to the colonization site of the M-Globe satellite. About three months later, I also boarded the ship with twenty Grays and twenty Whites, including the Earth Bureau Director and Jetty. Looking at the space station, Muse18 asked me for my sympathy.

"Our Headquarters has restored this Space Station, which was completely destroyed during the war. How do you feel as a Brigade Commander?"

"I don't remember anything like when I visited the Antimon War Memorial."

"The restoration workers were shocked to see the damage done here."

"In the human world, war damage is even more terrible. That is why it is more important to prevent war than to win it."

The space shuttle to M-Globe is much bigger than that to and from the Solar System Base. There is no restriction on the size of a spacecraft operating within the Merion Star System because it does not have to travel at a super speed. The spacecraft arrived at the base camp just days after taking off. I set foot on another alien planet for the first time in decades. The base camp, built by Antimon forces, is reminiscent of the Solar System Base.

The base camp is an intermediate landing site for migrants, workers and equipment to be sent to the colonial construction site. The M-Glove satellite has a poor living environment because all the facilities were destroyed by Antimon's attack and have not been recovered yet. Therefore, base camp will play an important role in the early migration process.
