Life's survival style will be similar everywhere. Seeds that fall into a good growth environment grow into strong trees and produce desirable fruit, but seeds that are sown on barren soil are hard to germinate. Animals thrive in places with good habitat and die out in bad places. Animal or plant life is dominated by the environment, but intelligent creatures can survive even in harsh environments. There are many cases in which humans have made barren land fertile or turned it into a good residential environment.

A mild and rich environment makes humans lazy, but a poor environment stimulates human challenges and creativity. Human beings survived such hardships and expanded their reach of life by reclaiming the wilderness. They joined forces with their neighbors when it was difficult to secure a foundation for themselves and their families to live on and solved complicated tasks by dividing them into simple details. Even today, community members around the globe work together to secure the necessities of life and security.

In this regard, specialization and division of labor can be a measure of civilization. As society progresses, people's work becomes more specialized and the number of jobs increases. In order to increase the efficiency of production, tasks should be subdivided and given to experts with specialized skills. And the more professional a job is, the less time an individual spends on his or her life and more on others.

Robots and machines are much more productive than humans. As robots, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and Nano-mechanical devices develop in the future, human work space will be smaller and smaller. At this time, humans have to rely on robots and artificial intelligence to make a living. The planet Merion may have entered that phase. Planet people have left most of the hard and dangerous work to Grays, who perform various activities while operating equipment and machines. In the human world, the state is responsible for maintaining the community and personal safety. Individuals, businesses and governments are the major players of economic activities, and the roles and functions performed by each individual are defined by laws and customs. Most countries advocate democracy and adopt a market economy. However, a country where all its people actually play the role of its owner is not noticeable. In the case of dictatorships, where a minority monopolized power, the name of a state used to include the word 'democratic'.

North Korea was founded under the name of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, but for 70 years Kim Il Sung's family has inherited power. And all of the nation's policies focused on the maintenance of dictatorship rather than on the lives of the people. Although the people elect a representative in person, the election was actually a public vote, and the People's Congress only played a role of yes men in defending the dictatorship of the top leader.

Nowadays, few countries practice direct democracy and even representative democracy. Every election, the public votes only for party that it expects to reflect its will relatively well among a handful of parties. In advanced countries, political parties that win through elections wield power arbitrarily during their term. They are judged in the next election, and even if they implement policies that are against the will of the people during their term, the public has no strong means to check them.
