5: 15 pm // Grace's POV:
Luke invited us to come upstairs to see his room. It was quite cool, lots of band posters though, like Ashton's room, only Luke's walls are not bricks, Ashton's walls are. There were Good Charlotte, Nickelback and Blink-182 posters. I liked them, good tastes in music.
"Grace, do you want to do a cover?" Luke asked.
"Sure, but don't you realise that you do originals as well?" I questioned.
"Just because we do originals as well, doesn't mean that we can't do covers" Luke folded his arms.
"I never said that" I giggled.
'You just did, don't fuck with me" Luke joked.
I laughed a little. The computer was facing towards me as I sat down. Since I'm the singer, I didn't need to do anything. Calum didn't need to do anything either, since this was an acoustic song, there was no need to have a bass in this. Ashton sat down on his drum box and Michael and Luke tuned their guitar.
"Before we start playing, what song should we play?" Calum asked.
"How about I Miss You by Blink-182?" Michael offered.
"That's great" Luke smiled.
'Babe, you've heard of that song haven't you?" Ashton asked.
"How could I not? It's my favourite song" I giggled.
"Let's go for it then" Michael cried.
Luke pressed the play button, I was a little nervous, but the butterflies in my stomach will get over it, besides, it's just a video.
"Uh hey guys, we're 5 Seconds Of Summer here, this is Grace" Luke introduced.
"Hey!" I nervously greeted.
"And she's going to be singing with us today, she's not in the band at the moment yet" Luke explained.
"Haha not at this moment" Ashton laughed.
"Yeah haha so um we'll be singing I Miss You by Blink 182 so we hope that you enjoy it" Luke explained.
Ashton started a drum solo on his drum box. Then, Luke and Michael joined in with the guitars. Calum was going to sing the first verse first and then I would harmonise. Luke was going to do the second verse.
"Hello there,
The angel from my nightmare
The shadow in the background of the morgue
The unsuspecting victim"
I joined with Calum every 3rd/4th line. Calum and I sounded really good together. I also joined Luke every 4th line as well. I joined in with the chorus. After the song, we all said thank you and posted the video onto Youtube. As Ashton, Luke and Michael went and put their instruments away, Liz knocked and opened the door to say that dinner's ready. We all ran to the dining table. I have to say Michael's face was priceless.
