Monday 23rd May, 12:16 pm // Grace's POV:
It feels like I haven't been at school for months. It feels like I've been locked up in jail with my boyfriend and my 3 other best guy friends in the whole enire world for years, well not for that long, maybe months, but not years. I opened my locker to put away my photography stuff and get out my music stuff. I locked my locker and saw Ashton, Calum, Michael and Luke waiting for me.
"Naw guys" I cooed.
"Hey what are friends for?" He questioned.
"Nobody likes you Michael" Luke joked.
"Shut up Luke" Michael joked.
"I'm gonna ignore these two and walk away" I whispered.
"Agreed" Ashton nodded
"Me too" Calum agreed.
"Yo guys wait up" Michael shouted.
"Yeah seriously, don't leave us" Luke shouted.
As we already left them, they got a little sidetracked and nearly fell over, due to their shoelaces. After all that gismo, we walked into the music room, dumped our stuff and sat down of what we're going to do.
"So, any ideas for what songs we can do?" Luke said.
"I have a few, but I want to do this really good song" I confessed.
"Which is?" Luke asked.
"First Flight Home by Jake Miller" I said.
"I've heard of that song somewhere, has it got rapping in it?" Ashton asked.
"Yep" I smiled.
"Rapping? I can't rap" Michael blustered.
"No one asked you to rap" I said.
"But is it really our genre? I mean rapping isn't really our thing" Calum asked.
"Not particularly, we can do another song if we want to" I said.
'Yeah, because we don't know the song too well and it's not our genre" Luke confessed.
"Fair enough" I sighed.
"What about Centuries by Fall Out Boy?" Ashton offered.
"That's a pretty good song" Calum said.
"I agree, we should do that song" I nodded.
"But does everyone knows the song?" Luke asked.
"Well, if we practice now, we will easily remember the song" Michael said.
"Just let me set my drum up and lets get practicing" Ashton stood up.
As the boys were setting up, I opened my folder which funnily enough, I had the lyrics in my folder. I noticed Ashton setting up and thinking that he hasn't taught me how to play the drums.
"Hey Ash" I said.
"Yeah babe" Noticing more on the drums than me.
"How come you haven't taught me the drums yet?" I asked.
"I didn't think you want to get taught" He said.
"I've been waiting for quite a while" I chuckled.
"I can teach you now if you want" He smirked.
"Please" I gave him puppy eyes.
"Aww you're too cute to resist" He cooed.
Ashton sat down on the drum stool as I sat down on his lap and gave me the drumsticks.
"Now, I always remember this saying, 'Beat with your heart' so that's what I do" Ashton placed his head on my shoulder.
"What's this got to do with anything" I questioned.
"Shhh watch and learn" He whispered.
As I held the drumsticks, Ashton was holding my wrist so he could show me where to put it. As I could hear the banging, I felt that my heart was pounding. I guess I can fully understand Ashton now. It sounded amazing.
"Grace, I didn't know you can play drums" Calum said.
I turned my head to the side so Calum can notice Ashton.
"Aw, cute" Calum cooed.
"Shut up Cal, this will happen when you get a girlfriend and she wants to learn to play the bass" Ashton started to blush.
"Bitch please, I'm definitely boyfriend material" Calum placed his hands on his hips and walked sassy to Luke.
Ashton and I laughed so hard, the teacher turned around and told us off, we continued the lesson of pretty happy.
Hey! Sorry I didn't post this chapter yesterday, the internet disconnected :)
