Wednesday, 11th September, 9:10 am // Ashton's POV:
Months has passed and I've never felt happier. Being with my girlfriend has been the most memorable time ever. I'm so glad to have her in my life, I could care anything else in the world but her. I walked into homeroom late because I slept in. Yes, quite usual, but hey, I need a good sleep.
"Mr Irwin, you're late" Ms Boardman gritted her teeth.
"Sorry Ms Boardman" I apologised.
"Reason why you were late?" She asked.
"Traffic was really slow" I lied.
"Not good enough Mr Irwin" She gritted her teeth.
I walked over to a random desk and sat next to Grace.
"You slept in didn't you?" She smirked.
"Yeah, it was a good sleep too" I made a little sad face as she giggled softly.
"Now, since you guys are all in year 11, the year 11 formal is coming up"
Everyone groaned in sync. Everyone hated it. I didn't mind it, just as long as a guy has a girl to dance with.
"SILENCE! This year is going to be different" She yelled. Everyone heard and had all ears to her.
"On the student intranet, there is a little quiz that all year 11s have to take, this is for the dance that will happen on the night"
Everyone groaned again. God is it that bad? It was fine when the year 10 formal was on.
"Is this like a online dating site?" A student asked.
"No, this a quiz for all year 11 to take" Ms Boardman answered.
"What's it about?" Grace asked.
"Every year, us year 11 homeroom teachers had to sort out your partners to dance with, now we just made a quiz and if you have someone in common with another person, that person will be your partner for the dance" Ms Boardman explained.
"Will we have to dance with everyone?" A girl asked.
"You definitely will" Ms Boardman answered.
"When will the results come out?" A guy asked.
"Well, we need everyone to take it, so if we close the quiz next Friday, the results will be up in week 9"
The bell rang, time for next lesson. Until the homeroom teacher sat us back down again.
"You are not America, you're not in a movie, now you can wait 5 minutes silently until I can tell you to leave"
I aboloutely hated these things. I looked at Grace and I could tell that she was getting impatient. This was making me impatient too. This is wasting my lesson time. I guess this is what you get for sleeping in. 5 minutes later, she let us go. Grace sighed of relief. I laughed a little.
"Does she always to this?" She asked.
"Not always, she doesn't put up with shit:" I said.
"Yeah I can see that" She sighed.
Hiiiii, This is chapter 34, K bye :) ily <3
