Chapter 13 - One On One

Sunday, 15th of May, 1:41pm // Grace's POV:

I turned on my speakers because the rest of the family have gone out somewhere. I put on Violet Hill by Coldplay. This is probably the best song that Coldplay has done I reckon, apart from Yellow and Clocks. 

I heard a message tone on my phone, it was from Nicole. Seeing that she hasn't messaged me all week. I slide to open it.

"Meet me at Starbucks 2pm sharp!! ily"

I have 15 minutes to get there and there is no car in the driveway to take me there. Just great guys, big help. I wrote a message on a piece of paper and put on the table.

"Out at Starbucks with Nicole, I shouldn't be too long"

I grabed my phone, grabed the keys and walked out the door. I guess I have to walk to Starbucks due to the fact that there is no car. It takes 15 minutes anyway so it shouldn't be a problem. When I arrived at Starbucks, I saw Nicole waiting outside the door. She gave me a big hug, as if we haven't seen each other in a long time. We both walked in, we both scanned the menu that was on the board, I asked for a Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino and Nicole asked for a Vanilla Chip Frappuccino. Nicole payed for our drinks. We waited and we waited, we finally got them, we sat down at a table near the window. We talked about random things, things that we did at school and many other stuff. 

"So, a little birdy told me that you and Ashton went out last night" She smirked.

"Yeah, we did, why is that so weird to you?" I questioned.

"It's not, I just got told" She answered. 

"By who?" I asked. 

"A girl from school" She answered. 

"Alright then" I mumbled. 

"Sooo, what did you two do last night? I want every specific " She asked.

"Well Ashton picked me up at 5:30pm, we got into his Nissan Pulsar, such a shitty taste in cars..." I explained

"I know right?" She interrupted.

"We drove to this restaurant called Quay, it seemed fancy, we walked in, we sat down, we chose our food and drink, I ordered a warm chicken salad with a glass of water and Ashton ordered spaghetti bolognese with also a glass of water, Ashton went and ordered, he came back, we talked, our food came, we ate, we drank, we talked more, we left quickly, then we drove to a drive in, I chose the movie which was The Fault In Our Stars, luckly enough Ashton brought a box of tissues, Ashton brought popcorn and drinks, we drove in, we saw it, we laughed, I cried, I fell asleep, Ashton drove me home, I woke up, we walked up to the door we said goodbye and then I kissed him on the cheek" I explained.

Nicole choked on her Vanilla Chip Frappuccino, oh hell, what have I done?

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, just the wrong hole *coughs*" She said, huskily.

"Do you want a glass of water or something?" I asked. 

"No, I think I'm ok, I'll survive" She answered. 

"Ok" I took a sip of my Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino.

"Is that all? Like, you guys didn't have sex didn't you?" She asked.

"What the actual fuck Nicole, no I didn't have sex with Ashton, besides, even if I did, I wouldn't be ready yet and neither would Ashton" I scoffed.

"Ok ok, don't get shitty" She cried. 

"I wasn't getting shitty at all" I joked. 

"Oh well, would you look at the time, I better get going" Nicole said.

"How come?" I asked. 

"I'm renovating my room and I need to be there on time so I can get there and do it" She replied. 

"Fair enough, have fun with your room" I said,

"Thanks, I'll try" She laughed. 

"Bye Nicole" I waved. 

"Bye Grace, I LOVE YOU!!" Nicole shouted from the other side from me

I'm starting to get a little suspicious of Nicole now. Every time when I want to say something about Ashton, she wants to know everything, ok, Nicole hates him, but I don't understand why she wants to know. She's stalking him. It's a little crazy.

That was only a short chapter, but the next few chapters are going to be full on and suspensful :)
