Chapter 8 Sanity
Roma had been planning something insidious, his sanity had fallen drastically when his fated half left him. He made every attempt to get Mina back, but everything failed. Sending roses to her work backfired, every time Roma sent roses or gifts, they were either turned down by the store owner or accepted and found later by his men in the dumpster behind the convenience store.
Unable to understand this he began to feel crazed, growing up he had suffered but everything seemed to fall into place when he did. Knowing that eventually Mina would come back to him he waited, because that is how it works, that's how it's always been. Suffering equaled him obtaining whatever he wants after. That's what he's grown up with, but for some reason after a month of waiting for Mina or something to occur so he can use it to his advantage, she never once neared him.
This wasn't right, where was Mina? Why wasn't she answering him? Why won't she pay attention to him?
Of course, the world could only do so much for Roma when he was the male lead. And it would have done what he wanted in the blink of an eye, but when it came to another lead in the world, it was helpless. Like watching its favorite child bicker and fight, what could a parent do than give them space until they were able to figure it out themselves.
Roma thought of the person who ruined everything.
Furo.
He was the one who told him what he was going to do, and when he had brought a recorder to the restaurant, in an attention to expose this fake, he was found out. Furo was someone he never thought would appear in his world. Every since that little brother arrived he felt like something was wrong. Like he wasn't supposed to be here in the first place.
In the end Roma got what he wanted.
And he'll get it.
>.<
Roma was not thinking rationally now. His eyes were bloodshot, bags under his eyes as if he had not slept for a month. He was lashing out at everyone that talks to him. Due to that, his company was making bigger mistakes and losing thousands of dollars in the process. Bad deals were being made because all he could think about now was how to get Mina back. So, to take measures into their own hands and have everyone make better deals, second male lead came into the picture, John Kuruyo.
He had met Mina during her college days, and they weren't close to the point of exchanging numbers, but they did chat during study time in their classes when it came to certain questions.
John Kuruyo, half American half Japanese, he was a looker indeed. Many tried hugging his thigh, but he reserved that thigh for Mina when the two spent more time together in class. After college hours he went to intern at the second-best company, which was Hoku co. He had done so good during his first few years of college interning that they promoted him with pay as the secretary for Roma.
The two didn't get along, but that wasnt going to stop Roma from keeping John since his abilities were top notch. He wasn't about to lose a great asset to the company for personal reasons.
"Mr Hoku." John said his brown hair was styled back, due to his hair growing a little long it made him look quite charming and much more attractive.
"What is it?" Roma said as he looked at the picture of Mina and him together.
"Take a month off, we'll handle everything on our end, if anything seems too complicated for us, we'll contact you as soon as possible." That definitely didn't sound like a suggestion.
But Roma disregarded his secretary, instead he nodded as his brain clicked on something.
"Yeah I'll do that, get my men ready I need at least a hundred, I'll be taking some matters into my own hands, I'll let you know when I'll be back." He suddenly stood up and began walking out the door with a sadistic smile.
