Chapter 15 A Friend

Shikida Shigemi, this man was the so-called strong backer of Yoshitake Kenchiki, the one who ended the life of Tachino for trying to harm his friend.

"I heard that you've been meeting someone for quite a while now." The man said, his deep rumbling voice would send shivers down the spines of every woman.

"Ah yes, his name is Mizusawa Junichi, a very kind and sensitive boy if you ask me." Kenchiki smiled at the thought of the wild cat.

"What do you know about him." Like any other friend that looked out for the other for any dangers Shigemi questioned the existence of the company Kenchiki was keeping.

"Nothing at all, some things here and there, why?" Kenchiki asked curiously.

"We've talked about this, you shouldn't go around befriending everyone, they could be out to get you, have you forgotten the first one who ever tried?"

"Not at all." Kenchiki gave a weak smile. "But I have been with this kid for about three going on four years. He knows everything about me, I bet he knows more than I do myself. So far, he has not done anything, don't you think he would have done something by now?"

"He's probably well trained than the others-"

"He's not, trust me, don't go looking into his background either. He has troubles that I want to help him with, I've been helped so much, the kid has a brain, remember the Token project? He was the one who gave me the idea to help it prosper. If that isn't trustworthy, I don't know what is."

"He was the one who told you to change contractors?" Shigemi's eyes narrowed.

That project was a flop from the beginning, and he knew it, nothing would have been able to make it succeed, and if someone did produce an idea, not even half of the invested money would have been earned.

To think a simple solution to change contractors would have worked, and not only that, but it was also a kid that produced the idea.

"Yup, he was also the one to produce the idea of gifting our employees some rewards for working hard and raising morale. So far, I have been getting even more hardworking people and getting amazing results from their work. I've even promoted a few as well and will even open a new branch overseas because I have been getting good money." Kenchiki grinned as he looked out his window, overlooking the city streets and people walking towards their daily lives.

Shigemi did not speak further and left, he didn't honor the words of his foolish friend and instead went digging. He contacted all his best web surfers and made them investigate this Mizusawa Junichi character that has gotten his friend wrapped around his finger.

Junichi was sitting down on his rolling chair sucking on a popsicle. He has been waiting for a long time in front of the computer and finally his hard work paid off.

A ping sounded.

This ping warned him about someone or even people searching up his name. This was exactly as he planned, he knew it wasn't Tachino's gullible little brother, that man honored privacy, but someone protecting him didn't. The same someone who had gotten rid of the last hundred or so people who tried to get dirt on Kenchiki.

Shikida Shigemi.

The number one businessperson in the world, he had kept quiet throughout his many years of ruling from the tender age of twenty-one, no one knew what he looked like. Today he should be thirty years old and still holding the title as best to the very present day. Many even thought up a conspiracy theory that Shikida Shigemi was in fact ten genius businesspeople who ruled over all other businesses.
