I walked downstairs after what felt like dying and coming back to life. I could say the least this isn't how I expected my senior year to go, Xavyer is off being busy as hell- not to mention he's still playing the I'm not gay game so his head is in bigger problems as well as- Jezebel looking for him for some strange reason. Me and Naoki well our break lasted for three days and last night he was in my guts again- I told him I had no feelings for him and he said he understood but we'll see how this plays out. As soon as I got to the bottom step my mom started nagging about everything I could possibly do.

"And then hickeys cover them or something!" She called from the kitchen it was 12:30 and she was cooking already. Someone's coming-

"Why are you home? You don't have work?" I asked she looked up for a brief moment before glancing back down, as she did her mouth started going again.

"This my fucking house, I can be here whenever the fuck I want- you and your sister are guest in this bitch" she added waving her kitchen knife around in the air as she talked.

"I'm here to see my brother not your crazy ass. Keep acting like that and just like daddy he gone leave too" my sister mumbled but enough for their argument to escalate. This was my cue out the door I zipped my coat up and headed outside just for the wind to smack my yellow ass back. The walk to the car was crucial but as soon as I made it in I heard knocke on my window and there stood Onyx sister, I went
to meet her after talking to Nyx and looking for Xavyer, she's a normal teenage girl to me, she has the same lost look in her eyes Onyx had- of course he is better at hiding it so maybe something recently or she never been able to cope with was bothering her.

As soon as I unlocked the door she opened it and slid in, "Where are you going? It's freezing" she asked as she tried to warm herself up. "Oh... to a dick appointment?" She said her face getting red as her eyes scanned my neck.

"Oh um no- to get something to eat" I announced and she put on her seat belt obviously content with my response.

"I have 15 dollars- I'm in what are you feeling?" I looked at her for a bit before starting the car

"I was feeling chicken wings maybe but now I think I want pizza" her face lit up at the sound of that, pizza it is.

"You could be having a whole party in there" I said as we drove off she smacked her lips together unlike Onyx she likes to talk, and talk and talk I didn't mind it due to everyone else in my life being busy or hiding so I let her.

"I only know you- who am I gonna invite? Jermain wouldn't even come" she mumbled and I couldn't help but smirk, it's a tough life out here but the smirk soon dropped because she really did need more female friends her age- the best I could do to help her who wasn't a bitch. Niomi.

When we pulled up to nirchi's and I checked my phone which was going off a few times during the ride but I assumed it was just my sister trying to kill my mom. It was empty kind of due to how cold is was nobody wanted to walk in this. I had to say walk because half of the people going to this nirchis don't have cars, they got glocks and bitches though maybe.

"You pretty cool, I don't know how Onyx rude ass got you" she said as I opened the door for her letting her go in first.

"Well we never really dated" I started but soon stopped not wanting to go down that road, with all the bullshit he's did we were really just friends he just liked telling people he was my boyfriend.weird ass. After telling me what she wanted I let her sit down and told her I would order, as well as many times Onyx paid for my food I was going to pay for hers. When it was finally my turn a pretty female came to the counter Kaliyah I read the name tag it seemed familiar  but  I'm not the best with names and faces, she cleared her throat looking up from the cash register and she smiled.  "Can I get two slices of cheese two of pepperoni some garlic knots and two sprites" I said and watched it ring up before handing her the money she gave me the change pondering on my face aswell.

  "Your Jermains friend right?" She said smiling softly. I nodded and blinked a few times- ohhhhh this Jermains piece oe something.

  "And your that girl who answered the door that night, cried on my shirt- y'all fix that out?" I asked rubbing the back of my neck she sighed shaking her head.

"Somethings going on, he won't tell me- and he's going home soon and I just don't want him to feel alone" she said frowning I understood what she was going through but I couldn't help, I haven't seen Main in awhile.

  "Damn why don't you ask Kendrell and Onyx? Maybe his sister?" I questioned the obvious answers.

  "He said his sister already went down to see their mom, but I don't know he's in an argument with his friends I think" she was trying to think it looked like but it also looked like it was hurting her. I didn't hear about no fight and Onyx text me atleast twice a day, so something fishy is going on.

    "I thought you get off at 1:00  babe" perfect timing and there was Jermain I turned around and he exhaled.

  "Wassup G, how you been?" He asked seeming surprisingly calm.

  "Alright, and you?" His she's met mine and he shrugged, and that was the answer- he probably was hiding something.

  "Lemme guess Onyx sent you to watch Malia?" He said with a small laugh. "Of course you said yes" he added

  "What's that suppose to mean?"

  "It means I'm sorry you like his toxic ass so much" there is where the truth was spilling over, that enough made me raise my eyebrow.

  "Toxic?" He let out a laugh shaking his head

  "I bet you don't even know where he is"

"Going to pick up his brother? Fuck is wrong with you? Where is this going?" I asked

  "Yeah try the psych ward, but you wanna put up with his shit that's you"

  "You obviously know more than me so tell me where the fuck he is"  Jermain didn't seem like he had intentions of doing so when he came over here. But his mouth is big as hell- just like his sisters so when he's upset it spills like water out a faucet.

Easy ass ways out"  you know when your brain is telling you something but you don't wanna believe it? This is this moment- because here in public This didn't make sense- all the days I walked to Onyx after that it didn't make sense so my brain involuntarily decided that was a lie.

   When the food was ready I just excused myself from the conversation.  "Chill no hard
feeling G, but this what you signed up for he don't really wanna get better"

"Shut up" I said clenching the tray. "Just shut up, you were suppose to be his brother now here your snake ass go doing all this in my ear" my voice was shaky because even if my brain said it was a lie. I knew Onyx it was very possible. I sat down across from Malia in the booth and she thanked me trying to give me her money for her food.

  "Nah k-keep it, but I have a question" her eyes met my mine and I exhaled deeply. "Um Onyx, where is he?"  She put her cup back down and her eyes fell to her lap.

  "He told me not to tell you, but I guess Main did?" She said barely above a whisper.

  "Not exactly."

"I f-found h-him" She said her voice breaking, I felt my heart drop, I didn't need to ask her this I needed to ask him.

"No it's fine you don't have to talk about it, can you take me to see him after we eat?" She nodded a bit messing with her straw. Then nodded again exhaling.
