Description: Evil X tries to join the Convex.
In the small room in the ConCorp Industrial Zone, Cub and Scar sat on their bed, eating cake and using war preparation as an excuse to chat together and enjoy each other's presence. They were so distracted, neither of them noticed the man walking into the room until he stood in the center, startling Scar.
Cub looked up at the man. "What do you want, Evil X?"
"Can I join the Convex?" he asked.
The two were taken aback. "Why?" Scar sputtered, taken off guard.
"I want pow- I mean friendship, and the Vexes are the best friends to have, and I heard the best way to be their friend is to join them." Evil X said.
"Give us a minute. We have to discuss this."
They went into the back room in the far corner where Evil X couldn't hear them.
"There's no way we're letting him join." Scar said in a harsh whisper.
"I know, I know," Cub said. "You wanna just send him on a bunch of fetch quests and see how long until he gives up?"
"Yeah, sounds good."
Scar and Cub walked out of the room.
"We'll let you in, but first you have to do a few things for the Vex." Cub said.

This was the first time Evil X had seen such a ridiculous site. In the hallway of a grand woodland mansion, Vindicators sat in boats with axes still at the ready in case a foolish Hermit dared walk too close. Evil X was trying his best not to be a foolish Hermit, having watched a few of Tango and Impulse's videos on moving mobs and swiping a few supplies from every Hermit so they wouldn't notice and come after him, potentially ruining his plan. Evil X thought he was ready to drag an axe murderer back to the Convex to prove himself.
He approached the closest Vindicator in a boat and cut it away with his wooden axe. Once freed from his ridiculous wooden prison, the ungrateful axe murderer brandished his more powerful iron axe and charged at Evil X. Evil X backed away until he was on a set of tracks, placing a minecart in front of him as the Vindicator approached. It did not have time to avoid the minecart and tripped into it. Evil X took the moment he had while the axe-wielding villager variant was confused to go behind the cart and push it into the nether portal down the hall. The push was a bit weak, but it had just enough to push the cart onto the powered rail, which sent it down the track to the activator rail, which popped the Vindicator out of the cart and into the nether portal.
Once the Vindicator was through, Evil X stepped through the one he set up a few feet away. On the other side, he saw the axe murderer traveling back and forth on a short minecart track in a glass covered pit, very disappointed he did not get to murder someone with his axe. In front of the mob holding pit was a trackline separated from the pit track by only one set of rails, which Evil X put down, allowing the Vindicator to travel down the rail line. He then hopped in another cart and followed the Vindicator.
The journey back to the Concorp portal was very smooth. No pigmen or magma cubes hopped on the tracks and pushed the carts back, they didn't fall into lava, and nothing attacked them. Suddenly, as if a sadistic author decided this scenario was too idyllic, a ghast shot at the tracks as soon as Evil X and the Vindicator were just feet away from the portal. After he pulled himself off the burning netherrack floor, Evil X took out his bow and prepared to fire at the ghast. As he drew his bow back, the now free Vindicator charged through the fire and the flames to end Evil Xisuma, nailing him in the shoulder as he drew back to fire a shot at the ghast, causing the arrow to miss the ghast and hit a pigman on a higher nether ledge. Evil X quickly got back to his feet and ran, punching out any fires in front of him to ensure the Vindicator's survival, and stopped twice when he was far enough away to shoot at the ghast, killing it in the second shot. He had no time to celebrate as the damaged Vindicator was still trying to kill him and a group of pigmen had jumped off the nether ledge into the lava lake in order slaughter Evil X, their rage only being slowed by the thick soupy lava. To add to this, Evil X ran away from the portal after the ghast knocked out the tracks, naturally leading the Vindicator in that direction as well. Thinking there was no other option, he took a deep breath and ran to the portal, narrowly avoiding the Vindicator as he passed. The Vindicator followed as Evil X charged on punching out fires and trying to outrun him, the approaching pigman hoard.
