Lennox called me to his office and told me it was urgent. I sighed and walked in, closing the door behind me. Lennox immediately shove a paper in my face, "want to explain this?" he snapped. I took the paper and looked over it. The red line of the form, Cat is pissed. "She's pissed, she'll calm down. I just talk to her tonight and then it's fine again..." I said, shrugging my shoulders. "You know what kind of form that is?" he snapped. I read the top and for a moment my spark stopped beating. "Yeah, she's gone..."
Sprinted towards the door and raced over to her room. "CAT!" She wasn't here at all and I slowly started to panic. "No, no, no, no...." I kept repeating it before running over to the main hanger. I tried to locate her but she seemed to have disappeared. After a couple of hours, I drove back into the base. She couldn't be gone...

I hopped out of my alt-mode, sighing heavily. She will come back... She has to come back. I can't do it without her and she has disappeared before. Lennox strode over to me, "She will come back! She has done it before..." I said. "She was really upset with you about something," he said grimly. "I don't know what that might could have been... she was acting really strange lately. She confused me and this morning..." I shook my head. Optimus joined me and Lennox. "Have you seen Cat?" I asked. "No..." he replied. "It's not my fault... not this time at least. She's confusing me, not there with her mind. She had an eruption the other day as well and-- I tried to talk to her but she ignored me and blocked me. She's just acting so weird and I don't know why..." I said.

"True... I spotted her earlier today and wanted to ask her something, but she told me she wasn't in the mood and to leave her alone. She seemed to be really sad... as if she was about to cry," We looked at Prowl. "That's weird... she wouldn't say that to you... she respects you too much," Optimus said. "What can possibly be on her mind to act like this?" Lennox asked and there fell a silence. I spotted Que leaning against his alt-mode with his arms crossed and staring at me. Does he think I messed up?

I sighed and rubbed the back of my head, "It doesn't matter for now... i'll try to locate her and take her back to the base," I said before walking over to my partner. "Don't give me that look, Que... I know I fucked up," I sulked, standing beside him against his alt-mode. "Nah... I don't think you messed up," he replied. "You're just really special for, Cat... you mean a lot to her, probably more than you know..." he said. I huffed and shook my head, "She spilled water over me on purpose this morning before a meeting... she's rambling about stuff and tells me it's not for me and then she's saying weird things to me. I don't know how to react to them... why would she do that?"

"She's a teenager, Mirage. Do you think she ever had the chance to enjoy life and get the freedom you're giving her?" he asked. I frowned, looking at him. "I spoke to her this morning, after she stormed off I followed her and sat beside her in the training room. She was so upset after you sent her away..." he said. "She might be a teen, but that doesn't mean she can act so weird around me," I scowled. He gazed at me with that look he always gave me when I am wrong. "Mirage... you mean so much for her. She finally starts to have a life here with you. You're giving her a home. Stop treating her like she's an older like Lennox and Mearing... she's not!"

"Okay! Okay! I get it," I grumbled, rolling my eyes. "Why don't you ask her out for dinner when she gets back?" Que asked. I blinked in surprise, "ask her out for dinner?" I repeated. He hummed, "well, I could try..." I mumbled.

Two days passed and I had no idea where my partner is right now. A human female named Isabella seemed to be glued to my side. She's nice, but not Cat. I have been through so much with Cat that it's nearly impossible to create a bond with another human female or human in general.

She was sitting next to me right now. "And... found Cat yet?" She asked. I shook my head, staring at the table while fiddling with a knife. "No, I don't know where she is," I sighed. "Can I ask you a personal question?"
I hummed and looked at her, "why... do you care so much about her... while she's always making your life so difficult?" I sighed. "She has a really special place in my spark. We have been through so much," I explained it I tried. More people asked me but I just think they don't get Cat correctly. She's abused all her life, it's not that hard to show her some kindness and love. Regardless that she has a temper and loses it quickly. She just don't want to get hurt again.

"Sorry, Optimus is calling me in..." I said before getting up. I strolled over to the medbay and found Cat there as well. Ratchet was stitching a cut in her arm. "Cat?!" I rushed over to her. She seemed tired and in pain. "Starscream found her..." Optimus hoarsely explained. I tried to catch her eyes or a reaction from her but her lips were sealed. "Thank you for bringing her back..."

Optimus nodded slowly. "Take some rest, the pain killers will work for a couple of hours," Ratchet said. She got up and was about to leave. "Cat..." Optimus strict voice echoed off against the walls. "Shouldn't you say something to Mirage?" He asked. She caught my eyes, "I hate you!"
With that she stormed off.
"You see what I mean? She's acting strange..." I sighed. "I seriously can't remember something that might could've upset her..."

"Try to talk to her, but give her some rest first," Optimus advised. I sighed, "I am just glad she's back..." I mumbled. "Hopefully, it won't happen again..."
