A week passed and I am doing better than I expected. Judy and I just got back from the store and were now working in the garden, planting new roses in the garden. I tried not to think about Mirage, it's still painful, really painful. I really try to get over it, but every time I tried, I started to think about what I did wrong. Would he still be my friend if I hadn't kissed him? I wanted it again, I want to kiss him again.
As we finished, Judy and I walked inside and washed our hands before we started to make lunch for the family. I seated next to bumblebee when we finished. A silence fell while eating, till Bee decided to speak up. "You maybe don't want to hear it... but Mirage asked me to give you a message," Bumblebee began a bit nervous. "What does he want this time?" I grumbled. "He asked you... if there's a possible way you could help him with something and he remarked to add 'please' after the question... he's really serious about it," Bumblebee stated.

Sam gazed at me, "why wouldn't you? Because you're heartbroken?" he asked. "No, it's about the things... he hasn't told me. Before I left we fell into an argument once again and told me how much he needed me and all that scrap. That there isn't a case he could do on his own, but in the meantime, he has cases I don't know about. I spied on Mirage and Isabell, she told him to dump me and that he doesn't need me. He didn't do anything about it, he didn't defend me as he has done in the past."
Bumblebee looked down at his plate while silence fell in the room. "Sounds like he's using you," Rone said eventually and got a punch from Judy with her elbow in his ribs. Ron shot her a glare before looking back at me. I nodded quietly and shrugged my shoulders. "I used to love my job... just not anymore... did he say something else? Still with that soldier?" I mocked. Bumblebee gave a small brief nod. "I fear so..." he sulked. I shrugged, pretending it didn't bother me, but it did and hurt me again.

I headed upstairs after I was done and sat down on the floor, grabbing a box from underneath my bed. There's just one thing I need to do before I stop being a spy. I opened it and looked through some letters. I needed to collect some data, really important data that showed me transactions between different people all over the globe, but especially the mafia that seemed to be so close with the Decepticons lately. I don't want people to die while I could have done something. After this, I am done with it.
That evening I told Judy and Ron I have to go out for a little while. They didn't ask me what I was about to do. I left the house and I had to take the bus, normally I have Mirage to drive me around, but I am not going to call him. After all, he doesn't give a shit anyway.
The building, a forty-floors tall building. It's closed, sort of. There are still some people working there. In my opinion, abuse to let them work for so long, but that's just me. "Lady! HEY!" A guard called out for me. I hummed and turned towards the men. "The building is closed..."
"I am sorry, I just forgot something... you probably don't know me, but I was here today as an intern..." I said. He studied me, "Right... and what was your name again?" he asked. "Skylar Banes..." I said.

The guard strode over to the reception to make a quick call. "You want to take me upstairs?" I asked. He halted and turned around, growing and considering if he's going to do that or not. "Please...?" I asked, smiling a little. "Alright... alright," he said, heading towards the elevator. "Which floor?" he questioned. "Forty..." I mumbled. He didn't respond and clicked on the button. We said nothing while waiting till we reached the last floor in the building.

I took a deep breath as I stepped out of the elevator. The moment the doors closed, I slammed his head against the metal frame that surrounded the doors of the elevator. With a loud thud, he collapsed. I had to move quickly now, I reached for his gun and stuck it in my own belt before cuffing his hand together with the cuffs he had.
I sprinted through the halls towards the office, which was locked. I kicked against it a couple of times till the lock broke and I could move inside. I have little time to get this done, I know that the guards will get suspicious if one of them doesn't respond. I quickly stuck the USB in the computer and another device to unlock it. No change someone with so many important date will leave the computer unprotected.
The few minutes the device needed to break into the computer, felt like hours. When I just hacked into the computer an alarm went off, which was my cue to quickly finish. "Come on, come on," I scowled as it was downloading data slowly. It was stuck on 99%, I hated it when that happened, especially in situations like this.

When it reached 100% I ripped the USB out of the computer and sprinted towards the door. Outside, I heard people and I am pretty sure they're armed. I could do the classic, 'hide behind the door trick' but doubted it was going to work. I pushed the USB into my pocket and opened the window. immortal or not, falling from this height isn't something I would like to experience. I had to jump at least six floors down to reach a small balcony. All I had to do, is landing right.

It's not or never. Without thinking about it too much, I jumped. My landing wasn't really planned as I thought, I ended up against the railing of the balcony and nearly fell all the way down. I hold on to the metal and tried to hoist myself up, but my arm is still injured. I whimpered a little as I heard a gunshot. I looked down, it's still 34 floors down. I let go of the railing and tried to aim for the second balcony 15 floors below me. I doubted a person is able to survive this, but I am immortal and I don't really have another choice. I could feel my ribs break as I landed on the railing once again. The adrenaline was covering it for a big part thought. Another shot was fired and hit my arm. I let out a small scream and fell another three floors down. I managed to grab a hold of something sticking out of the wall, but just with one arm, and that was a bruised one.

My hand slipped and all I could do was aiming for the lamppost. I managed to grab it but I couldn't prevent myself from falling and collapsed pretty hard on the floor. I jumped on my feet as I heard police car sirens and disappeared into the park nearby...
