Hyunjin's POV
"two three~" The room echoed the synchronizing beats since we all were practicing for our upcoming comeback, the 2 mirrored walls reflected our bodies which moved and danced perfectly along with every next beat, giving us every view of the choreography. Fog trailed onto the ends of the mirrors as all of us were dancing and low key panting from a long time, thus the room's temperature had gotten warmer than outside which caused vapors to cool down and condense onto the chill flat surface of the thin mirrors.
I was somewhat getting irritated from the hair which was now sticking onto my forehead and nape due to the sweat which was uncontrollably rolling down my neck and face due to recklessly dancing from past couple of hours now.
"Yeah that's right, but bend a little more" I instructed Jeongin how to dance to the chorus perfectly, whilst I quickly fetched the water bottle and gulped down some water, still panting and sweating, finally letting my legs relax as I took a break and squatted down. Everyone was calming their selves and relaxing when suddenly the door opened revealing our manager.
I gathered myself up and stood up to greet the manager quickly, after we were done greeting our manager I took the yellow face towel which was clearly standing out on the black leather coaches, and began patting my face and neck with it. My eyes squinted together as a faded whimper made its way out of my lips since I was patting my nape and it was a little sore along with my thighs and arms due to the intense choreography Ive been practicing from previous 4 hours.
I looked up when it was all of a sudden very silent since manager-nim didn't greet back which was quite unlike him. My gaze turned into a little confused one when I saw the latter was already staring straight at me with a plain face yet tired and worried eyes. The towel in my hand began moving very slow due to the awkward eye contact as I placed it back on the wooden table beside me.
"Hwang, PD-nim wants to see you, right now" He spoke solemnly, I squinted my eyes but this time in perplexity and puzzlement.
"Me? Right now?" I asked out because I couldn't figure out why the CEO was calling for me when we met last night as well.
"Yeah, right now. Follow me" Hyung-nim (as in manager) spoke, his words very straight forward and half hearted. I exchanged a look with Chan Hyung who looked at me, before nodding my head and following the elder one who had walked out of the practice room already.
"Thanks for walking me here Hyung-nim, I will go inside by myself" I bowed at our manager as the two of us were standing outside the CEO's office. The latter didn't return the smile I gave him, rather he heaved a small sigh and patted my shoulder, nodding his head. Why doesn't it feel right? It was such a small walk with him that I couldn't even ask if everything was alright.
I knocked onto the PD's room before clenching onto the door knob, twisting it and lightly pushing it inwards hence the big wooden door opened. I peeked in before walking inside when I didn't see him in his seat. It was so silent, so awfully silent that it was just not giving me good vibes.
The very second I turned around, I felt a bunch of papers being thrown in my direction with force as my breath hitched a little and I felt my heart beat accelerating.
Eyes wide and now carried a totally different hue from before, a commotion of feelings floating in my heart, confusion, puzzlement, embarrassment and a hint of terror as well. I looked at PD-nim who was somehow scaring me even more, his face was dead serious and arms were folded, I couldn't bear with the eye contact anymore so rather I drifted my gaze over onto the bunch of papers which I was attacked with previously, and came to the confusion that it was actually a newspaper.
