Author's POV

Pulling the door outwards, Hyunjin rushed getting in the car, in a heartbeat he drove out of the restaurant to the place where Hana worked. His heart throbbing with guilt and remorse, repent and just repent.

He quickly texted Seungmin asking her the address for the place where Hana had worked. The younger one replied with the address as Hyunjin didn't waste more time, he directly followed the way to the place, thankfully which wasn't too afar from there.

His eyes squinted together as he parked the car anywhere he found some space. Getting off the vehicle Hyunjin stared at the smoky building in front, dense grey, thick smoke swirled around like clouds, the boy rechecked the address again realizing this was the exact venue where she worked.

His heart skipped a beat as he ran further towards there, coming to know the building had caught fire. People were crying messily scattered everywhere. Hyunjin walked towards a lady who cried looking at the building,

"Excuse me Ma'am!" Hyunjin coughed yelling since it was a chaos and he had to speak up really loud in order to make himself sound clear, the female turned around towards him with red teary eyes.

"Why are you crying and what happened here!?" He asked out anxiously,

"T-The building caught fire and my husband is still in there, but the fire fighter just said that there was no one inside when he didn't come out yet" The lady sobbed making Hyunjin get even anxious, daunting thoughts filling in his heart as he thought of Hana.

He panicked turning around and looked around the dense crowd, searching for her figure, but seemed like he was miserably failing to do so. The boy's hands began trembling and he couldn't even think of losing Hana, guilt was suffocating him as he ran, wandering here and there calling out for the girl multiple times now, but unfortunately wasn't receiving even a single reply in response.

"Excuse me sir, you need to leave this place, there is no one inside now" A fire fighter approached Hyunjin who was helplessly panting and panicking trying to find Hana around there but when he wasn't getting to see her face, his heart just broke and squeezed tightly as if someone was strangling him.

I can't lose her! I can't just can't! it is all my fucking fault!!

"No! my girlfriend is still in there please do check again!" Hyunjin cried helplessly begging the latter to check for his girlfriend. The fire fighter repeated his words standing with his stance, explaining they had checked multiple times now and there was no one inside now, so he should leave too.

Hyunjin's eyes began tearing up a bit now, he rushed towards his car, aiming to get the police for help. He panicked, with shaking hands started the engine and drove to the nearby station as quick as he could.

He was mid way driving to the police station when suddenly he spotted someone. Hyunjin's hands automatically pulled the brakes as his eyes focused onto the figure keenly. There stood a girl wearing a blue over sized hoodie and white shorts underneath, her hair pulled up in a messy high pony tail as she had her beats on, jamming to some song. A sudden feeling of relief drastically washed over the boy when he saw her there, when he saw Hana there.

Hyunjin stared at her for straight ten seconds before he rushed open his car running towards the girl in the speed of light. Grabbing her by her arm he turned her around facing her towards him, his sudden action startling the girl and the expression was apparent on her face.

He looked at Hana in her eyes for a second, collecting himself and telling himself that she was here right in front of him, and alright. Letting out a dramatic sigh of relief the boy placed a hand over his chest.

Hyunjin pulled her closer from her arm, crashing her body against his own, shocking her even more. He immediately wrapped his arms against her small body hugging her close to his body, still not able to relax himself that she was all okay.

"E-Excuse me... let go of me" Hana slightly pushed Hyunjin away feeling her emotions taking control over her, as she tried to act cold and remind him they weren't in a relationship anymore.

"Shut up..." Hyunjin's voice cracked as it was barely above a breathy whisper and a sigh, he just wanted to stay like that for a bit longer, his heart hurting for being a so rude to her and not trusting her, and just a small thought of losing her forever made him feel like he had lost his everything for a mere second too, and by everything he was sure everything.

"I-I thought you were in the building..." Hyunjin's words show cased how scared he was, Hana who was in his embrace but wasn't hugging back yet, knitted her brows at his words.

"What?" She questioned in pure confusion.

"The building caught fire and I thought you were in there... I felt like I would die" A small smile crept its way up to the girl's lips but she pressed her lips together still not giving in or hugging back since he was a jerk before and didn't listen to her at all.

The elder boy pulled away looking at her for a moment as the girl just looked down with a grumpy face, he held onto her wrist lightly tugging onto her arm,

"Lets go" He said trying to drag her along with him but she stood at her place not even bulging.

"No." She replied shortly and sternly making him frown,

"I am not coming with you after all who am I even to y-" Hana was cut mid way when Hyunjin scoffed and bent down carrying the girl in his arms and he began walking to his car with a plain face.

"Yah Hwang Hyunjin! Put me down you dumbass!" She freaked out moving her legs, panicking as she wrapped her arms around Hyunjin's neck, scared to fall down from a height, come on he is a tall ass guy now.

"Yah what the hell are you doing!!" Hana whisper yelled looking at the people around, some giving them weird looks and some just finding it cute, warmth crept onto her cheeks making them blush up. The boy on the other hand, just kept walking towards his car silently. He easily opened the door to the passenger's seat bending down as he placed the girl in the seat, the latter too flustered to say anything at the moment.

Hyunjin walked to the other side of the vehicle, getting in the driver's seat as he started the engine, turning his head towards the girl, his eyes carrying the oh so familiar soft loving hue in them which he had once lost for her. The boy leaned closer to her pulling the seat belt and doing it for, their face's inches apart leaving the girl star struck again.
