Peter keeps his eyes closed as the bus moves through Queens. His decathlon team had been awarded with a field trip for their success at Nationals for the second year in a row. Peter wasn't really that enthusiastic about school trips anyways, after the events of his past two fieldtrips.

First there was his trip to Oscorp, and that ended with a three-day sickness and super powers. After that was his trip to DC, and that was the trip that almost killer his friends. So to say he didn't like the idea of a field trip was an understatement.

It only became worse when Mr. Harrington announced they would be touring the Avengers tower. Things couldn't seem to get any worse, because not only does Peter know the Avengers, but they're practically family. As far as anyone else knows, Peter is just an intern for Stark. And that's for the people who actually believe him. A trip to the tower was sure to end in disaster.

"Hey man, we're here." Peter opens his eyes as he looks toward his best friend. Ned turns and looks out his window, going into fanboy mode. Peter sees the tower every weekend, so it doesn't phase him like it does the others. He instead spends his time watching out for a certain group of heroes.

When the bus stops, Mr. Harrington gives the usual speech about behavior, representing the school, and being respectful. As soon as he's finished speaking students are rushing off the bus, not even attempting some kind of order. Peter is the last one off, moving at a slow pace as the dread grows with each step. As soon as he's off the bus the taunting begins.

"Puny Parker! Hurry up!" Peter rolls his eyes at the bully and continues walking toward his friends. "What's the matter Parker! Afraid you're gonna get caught in your web of lies!"

The teen can't help but laugh at the irony in Flash's words. Peter comes up next to Ned as they all walk to the front doors of the tower. When they get inside, there's a tour guide already waiting.

Peter doesn't recognise her, so she must be one of the newer interns or an employee on the lower floors. Peter usually never works below the top ten floors, so there are several people he hasn't met.

"Welcome Midtown Tech! I'm Monica Landon and I'll be your tour guide. After we go through security we'll tour some of the R&D labs and the Avengers museum before ending with a Q&A. Now if you'll follow me..."

She turns and walks toward the security station, the group of students following behind her. Peter watches as she grabs the basket of security badges and hands one to each student. She stops when she realizes that there aren't enough.

"Hold on guys, it looks like we're a badge short. Just give me a minute and-"

"No, it's okay Ms. Landon. Parker has his own badge, because he's an intern. Right Parker?" Flash asks, a smug look on his face.

"Um, I actually don't have a badge..." Peter replies nervously.

"Because you were lying." Flash retorts.

"No actually. It's because.I'm already in the system. FRIDAY recognises me."

"Well I'm sorry sir but I can't let you through without a badge." Monica says uneasily. She doesn't seem like she's been in this kind of situation, and she looks as awkward as Peter feels.

"J-Just let me go through security." Peter stutters. "You'll see."

Monica nods and the group moves on. Each student passes through the security scanner, swiping their badge as they pass by. With each student, the same announcement is made by FRIDAY.  "Guest, Omega Level One. Restricted Access."
