I couldn't explain what the exact feeling I am feeling right now. I ran my fingers through my hair. Fuck! How may times do I have to see her like this? Ilang beses ko pa ba siyang bubuhatin habang punong-puno ng dugo ang katawan niya? 'Cause if I ever see her like this again baka ikabaliw ko. She doesn't deserve this kind of life. Damn! She had enough.

I was pacing back and forth outside the operating room, waiting for Savv to come out and tell me some good news.

"Kuya," Charleez came near me, held my hand. "She'll be okay." I nodded my head. I know she will.

Nanatili pa rin akong nakatayo doon when Savv finally came out.

My heart started to pound fast. She looked at me with sad eyes, ngumiti siya ng pilit. I don't know what to feel, it's like I forgot how to breathe. Hinihintay ko lang ang sasabihin niya.

"She's stable now." I found myself breathe, relief engulfed me after hearing those. Nawala lahat ng tension o kabang nararamdaman ko. Napayakap ako kay Savv.

"Thank you," naramdaman ko rin ang namumuong luha sa mga mata ko. Damn, since when did I learn how to cry?

Humiwalay ako sa yakap at nakita ko siyang umiiyak.

Umiling-iling siya. "Hindi ko na ata kakayanin na makita ulit siyang ganyan," I know and we're just feeling the same.

I can't promise that this will not happen again but I'll make sure I'll protect her in all the way I can. Hinding hindi ko na siya hahayaang mag-isa. This is all my fault, damn!

"I won't let this happen again. It's my fault I didn't protect her," tumungo ako. But she held my face and made me look at her.

"Kung sino man ang dapat sisihin dito ay hindi ikaw iyon. It's the bastard who did this to her," she seriously said. I can see fire in her eyes. She looks like Mom when she's serious like this and I don't like it. Ayokong pati siya ay magpumilit para hanapin ang may gawa nito kay Venice, ayokong sumama ulit siya sa mga misyon namin, mas mapapanatag ako kapag nasa hospital lang siya. She's part of the Grimes Mafia yes, she knows lots of martial arts and expert in using different guns, or any weapons and killing too, pero hindi pa rin ako papayag na iwan ang trabaho niya dito and start killing those people dared to cross our way. She's still a Doctor and it would hurt her if she'll let her old self back again. She saves lives now and not taking lives of enemies like she was before.

"Savv, I'll take care of it. I will kill him myself," she sighed.

"I just don't want someone in the family na masaktan ulit or worse makita kong nasa bingit ng kamatayan. Pakiramdam ko wala akong nagagawang tulong..."

"Hey don't say that. Treating Venice is something that I owe you big time. You're a big help in this family. You're a healer," she pouted.

"Just fucking find that asshole and make him pay!" and now she's back. The doctor who has feisty mouth is back. "Or else ako mismo ang hahanap sa gagong iyon."

"Lessen your voice, Doc. Someone might hear you and they'll be afraid of you."

"I don't fucking care!" I just shook my head.

"When can I see her?" Tanong ko nalang.

"Mamaya after mailipat sa private room."

"When will she wake up?"

"I'm not sure kung kailan dahil maraming dugo ang nawala sa kanya. And the wound on her head, parang hinampas siya ng baril. We'll run some tests sa kanya lalo na at may record siya ng head injury before," she let out a deep sigh again. "Sana hindi magka-problema, or else it'll worsen her situation."
