Harry Potter

Standing on Platform Nine and Three Quarters, you stared at the glistening scarlet steam engine, a huge smile plastered on your face. Carefully making your way through the crowd of Hogwarts students and parents, all saying their goodbyes. Your attention was soon set on Neville Longbottom, frantically searching for his toad, Trevor.

"Well, this year sure is going to be interesting," You thought, breathing out heavily, looking forward to your fourth year at Hogwarts.

-

"Anything from the trolley?" You heard a voice cry out.

You perked up, turning around to ask your friends if they wanted anything before leaving to buy some sweets. The witch had stopped the trolley outside a compartment, Harry, Ron and Hermione's to be precise. You had always admired the Golden Trio for their bravery, you however, although being sorted into Gryffindor had always struggled with your shyness.

"Two pumpkin pasties please," you said, handing the women your money, as she wheeled the trolley to the next compartment. Looking up to find the one and only Harry Potter staring right at you. He gave you a warm smile and introduced himself. You felt your face heat up, but plucked up the courage to say hi back.

"Oh, h-hi. I'm Y/N. You must be Harry Potter. I mean, obviously your Harry Potter, you have the scar and everything. I don't really know what I'm saying... Sorry," you blurted out, peering to the side of Harry and seeing Ron and Hermione trying to stifle their laughter. You whipped around quickly and started to walk away, mumbling curse words to yourself.

"Y/N?"

You turned to face him, nodding slightly.

"It was nice to meet you."

Ron Weasley

It was a pleasant Saturday afternoon. Your friends were studying in the library, so much to your dismay they couldn't join you but you were glad to finally have some quiet time to yourself. It was hardly ever peaceful in the (your house) common room, or anywhere in Hogwarts for that matter. The weather wasn't too cold so you decided to go for a stroll through Hogsmeade, maybe stop for a drink in The Three Broomsticks.

You stepped inside, to the warm, cosy atmosphere of The Three Broomsticks. The sweet scent of Butterbeer filling your nostrils. It was fairly crowded, but you managed to find a seat. You sat in silence after ordering your drink, just taking in the surroundings and listening to the low drone of people talking and laughing.

You turned your head, noticing Hermione Granger, a friend of yours, sitting with Ron and Harry. She grinned at you, waving for you to come over. You stood, making your way over to her and her friends.

"Hey Y/N, this is Ron and Harry." Hermione said, after motioning for you to sit down.

"Hey," you replied somewhat quietly. You made eye contact with them both, but your gaze settled on Ron. You had never realised how good looking he was. Gradually, it became clear to you that you were staring. You blushed furiously, stammering on your next attempt to bring the attention away from you.

After what seemed like hours of awkward silence, Hermione lightened the mood by talking about a book she had been reading. Ron and Harry rolled their eyes, mimicking her.

"What? " Hermione exclaimed, "Honestly, don't you two read?"

We all just laughed.

Neville Longbottom

You walked briskly through the halls of Hogwarts. You were extremely late to your first lesson. You came to a halt as you saw a boy you recognized as Neville Longbottom, being ridiculed by Crabbe and Goyle. Two of the dumbest boys at Hogwarts, they were almost as stupid as they were mean. Your heart broke as they insulted poor Neville, you had to do something about it.

"Hey! Don't speak to him like that!" You called out, angrily.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Miss Y/N, coming to save the day." Goyle said, mockingly. He pushed you back and you fell to the floor abruptly. Crabbe and Goyle cackled and carried on their taunting, throwing Neville's books around. A sharp pain shot through your leg as you stood up.

"I said don't speak to him like that!" You shoved Goyle out the way, running to pick up the books that had been thrown to the floor. You whipped around to see the bullies making a run for it.

"Yeah! You better run!" You shot them a glare, your gaze back on Neville. He murmured a quick thanks, before standing and dusting himself off. You shot him a Cheshire cat smile and pouted when he didn't return the favour. Neville laughed nervously before giving you a small smile.

You stuck your hand out, "The name's Y/N."

Draco Malfoy

You sat, slumped across your desk. You had barely gotten any sleep last night. Sitting upright and stretching a bit, you heard you name being called. You glanced up to see Professor Snape, waiting expectantly.

"Well? What is the answer?"

"Uh, um. I don't, I don't know" You stammered.

"Detention Miss Y/L/N," Snape paused, "For failure to answer my question."

You groaned and sunk down in your chair as Snape carried on with his tedious lecture. A quiet chuckle made you turn around in your chair, to see Draco Malfoy shaking his head at you.

"Seriously?" He sneered, "You should probably pay more attention in class."

"Thanks, Malfoy," you hissed, "But I don't need to take advice from you on how to do well."

You and Draco never officially met but you both knew each other's names due to being in a lot of classes together. Since your first day at Hogwarts, you both had started off as being frenemies but as time went on, you grew to become great friends.

Fred and George Weasley

You knew Fred and George since you were born. Your family was close friends with theirs, which meant you spent a lot of your childhood with the Weasley's. Fred and George were like brothers to you, as you spent the most time with them even though you were in the same year as Ron.
