The day had finally come: final exams were over and everyone was ecstatic, including you since it was your last year at Hogwarts.

To celebrate, you and a couple of friends decided to hang out in the astronomy tower with a bottle of Firewhiskey after dinner and reminisce in the memories of your years at Hogwarts.

As soon as you finished eating, you began to make your way to the tower. On your way there, you ran into someone, knocking their books onto the floor.

"Hell, I'm sorry. I-" you looked up and smiled. "Hey, Remus."

"Hi, (Y/N)," he smiled back, a slight blush creeping up on his cheeks.

You and Remus have been friends since you met each other during your 2nd year. You were partnered with him in Transfigurations and the two of you hit it off immediately. You two would study together, do homework together, and sometimes go on walks around Hogwarts at night, just talking about life.

During these years you've known him, you had fallen for him. You fell for the way he'd smile at you, and laugh at your jokes, and listen to when you were stressed, and the way how you'd both reach for a quill at the same time and touch hands.

But, what you didn't know, was that he felt the same way.

"Where are you heading?" Remus asked, squatting down to pick up his books.

"The astronomy tower. A few friends and I are going to celebrate the end of exams," you answered, getting down on your knees to help him collect his things.

You both reached for the same book at once and felt his hand over yours. He left it there for a few seconds before snatching his hand away.
"S-sorry," he stammered, picking up the book.

The two of you stood up and gazed at each other for a moment. Remus cleared his throat, breaking the silence.

"So, uh, will I see you later?" Remus scratched the back of his neck, looking down at you.

"Yeah, I'll be back later. We're just gonna hang out for a bit and then I'll come to the common room." You explained, feeling as if you rambled too much.

Remus nodded. "I'll see you later then." And with that, he was gone, leaving you nothing but confused.

He was acting weird.

You did your best to shake it off and made your way to the tower.

You were absolutely drunk. Utterly and completely wasted and sitting up in the astronomy tower alone. Your friends had decided to turn in early before they got too intoxicated, but you stayed.

As you were leaning over the railing, you heard footsteps coming up the stairs of the tower.

"(Y/N)? Are you up here? I need to tell you something," A voice whispered.

"Mhm," you mumbled softly, turning to face the stairs. Then, your eyes met a pair of kind green ones.

"Remus!" You slurred, letting go of the railing that was keeping you balanced. As you walked towards him, you fell into his arms.

"Whoa, are you alright?" Remus worried, helping you stand back up. You nodded, keeping your eyes closed.

"Are you drunk?" Remus chuckled, studying your face.

"Just a little bit," you mumbled, getting another laugh from Remus.

"Come on. I'll take you back to the common room." He placed your arm around his shoulder and his other around your waist to help you walk.
