Weddings. You always loved weddings. The excitement in the air, the love, the wonder of it all. The idea that two human beings could want to be together for the rest of their lives was such a beautiful concept. To make things even more interesting, it was a Weasley wedding. Even better. You loved the Weasley's more than you loved weddings.

You had been running around most of the morning because nothing seemed to be going right. Fleur was extremely picky about things (Not that she wasn't entitled. It was her wedding). When you finally got a break, Ron, your best friend (and crush), was waiting with a glass of water and a smug smile. You glared playfully and took the glass from him. There was nothing more that you wanted in the world at that moment.

"How's Fleur?" He asked. You both could hear her yelling something.

"She's a little stressed. How's putting up the tent? Having fun?" It was his turn to glare. You smiled at him.

"Loads," He replied sarcastically. You pushed some hair out of your face, now becoming aware of the fact that you still had bed head. Ron didn't look much better though, so you really didn't feel so bad.

"Hey, at least you don't have to deal with bridezilla," You giggle, only half joking. Fleur yelled something else. Ron shuddered, shaking his head a little.

"You might be right," He said. For a second, he looked like he was going to say something else.

"(Y/N)!" Ginny called, "We need you in here!" You shook your head.

"I just love weddings." You and Ron shared as laugh as you ran off to help the girls.

There was a small lull between the excitement in the morning and the actual ceremony where you were able to get ready and relax. Molly gave you Ron's room to get ready in because there were so many people jammed in Ginny's. Glad to have the time to yourself, you took your time stripping out of your pajamas and putting on lotion. After you finished, you pulled your dress up your body. At the exact moment you got it up, Ron walked in.

"Uh, hi," You laughed, zipping it. His face reddened and he began to sputter incoherently. You laughed softly, leaning into your makeup mirror.

"What're you doing in my room?" He asked, still blushing.

"At the moment, my makeup," You said, leaning beginning the, incredibly short/long, process of putting on your makeup. A devilish smirk crossed your lips. "And possibly you later if you play your cards right."

"(Y/N)!" Laughing, you admired the lovely shade of red that Ron was turning. It clashed beautifully with his hair.

"Kidding, Ronniekins, kidding." And you were. Mostly. You would totally screw him if he asked. No shame.

"Very funny," He grumbled, digging around in his closet.

"I thought so," You giggled. Shuffling through a few colors of eyeliner, you vaguely wondered if you should even bother. Sighing, you tossed them in your bag. Eyeliner was overrated anyway.

Standing, you walked up behind him and plucked a shirt from the closet. He glared at you, but took the shirt anyway. Both of you knew that he was more than a little hopeless when it came to fashion.

"Thanks," He said.

"Of course," You replied, ruffling his hair.

Again, he got that look like he wanted to say something. "See you downstairs." And that wasn't it.

In the end, you were glad that you hadn't done much with your makeup and that you'd used waterproof mascara because you cried all the way through the ceremony.Fleur was beautiful and Bill looked more in love than any man you'd ever seen. You really loved weddings. You loved that they brought people together. It was such a beautiful thing to see two families pulled together, even when everything else was happening. Ron found you directly after.
