You took one last look of yourself in the mirror and you couldn't help but smile as you smoothed out your dress.

Today was the day you were going to marry your best friend, Fred Weasley.

He proposed to you moments after the Battle of Hogwarts had ended, and even still he managed to make it the most romantic moment in existence.

"(Y/N)? How are- Oh, my goodness!" A sweet voice said. You turned around and saw Mrs. Weasley covering her mouth with her hand in awe.

Another smile grew on your face as she walked towards you. She took you by the hand and spun you around, making your dress flow out.

"(Y/N), you are the most beautiful bride," Mrs. Weasley marveled.

"Thank you, Mrs. Weasley." Your smile wouldn't leave your face.

She tied the bow on the back of your dress and held her arm for you to take, and the two of you began to make your way to the tent where the wedding was being held, grabbing your bouquet on the way out.

Finally, you reached the tent. The two of you stood outside the entrance. You took in a deep breath, looking down at yourself once more.

Your dress was beautiful; it was a floor length, strapless gown with lace and a somewhat long train. You had decided to keep your hair down, topping your look with a small flower crown.

"This is it," you breathed.

"Fred is so lucky to have you, (Y/N)," Molly said, placing a hand on your cheek. You placed your hand over hers and smiled at her once more.

She let go and went behind you to hold your train.

Suddenly, Ginny emerged from the tent, a large grin growing on her face, gaping at your dress.

"Oh, Fred is going to cry," Ginny grinned, smoothing out your dress.

"Ready?" She asked.

"Ready," you answered, gripping tightly to your bouquet.

She nodded with a smile, and with a wave of her wand, the entrance to the tent opened.

A tsunami of happiness overtook you as you saw Fred turn to see you.

And Ginny was right. He had to turn around to hide his tears.

Slowly, you began to make your way down the aisle of petals, blushing as Fred gazed at you.

"You picked a good one, Freddie," George whispered to his brother.

"I know," Fred smirked, keeping his gaze on you.

Mrs. Weasley had switched with Ginny and handed her the train as you made it to the altar.

Fred let out a content sigh while you gave your bouquet to Ginny and took hands with him.

"You look so bloody gorgeous, (Y/N)." Fred placed a hand on your cheek, caressing it with his thumb.

"You don't look too bad yourself, Freddie," you winked.

After a bit, it was finally the time for the vows. You went first.

"I'm not very good at expressing my feelings; Fred can vouch for me, considering it took me our entire childhood together and 3 years at Hogwarts to finally tell you how I felt," you began.

"It's true," Fred nodded to your families, getting a chorus of chuckles.

You smirked. "But, that day you got knocked by a bludger, and you got sent to the infirmary, it all hit me. Like how the bludger hit you," you paused to grin at him. He shook his head and let out a small laugh.

"I was in love with you, Freddie. I've always known that, but it wasn't until I was holding your hand and watching you sleep peacefully that I realized I had to tell you. And I'm so glad I did, because look at where we are now. I'm here with you, saying my vows to be yours forever, no matter what struggles we face. I love you, Fred Weasley."

Everyone let out a soft "aww" as you finished. "Beat those vows, babe," you whispered to Fred with a wink.

"Oh, you know I will." He sent a devilish grin your way.

"(Y/N), we've been best friends since we were children. You, George, and I did pretty much everything together, and when we got to Hogwarts, we sure caused some hell. I always knew I loved you. There was something about you that made me feel those cheesy butterflies everyone gets; maybe it was your smile, or how you laughed at all my jokes no matter how bad they were, or... Maybe it was the way that you could wear a bucket of red paint, yelling about how I hit the wrong target and still look beautiful as ever," he smiled.

Your families laughed once more.

"You are all I've ever wanted, (Y/N). You've always been there for me, taking care of me, keeping me in reality when need be, but also dreaming with me. You've stood by my side all this time. I'm so madly in love with you, (Y/N), it's not even funny. I never want to lose you. You're my best friend, my partner in crime, and the love of my life. I love you, (Y/N)." He brought your hand up to his lips, giving your knuckles a gentle kiss.

The two of you then exchanged rings.

And finally, the kiss.

The kiss that would seal your love forever.

Fred grabbed you by the waist and spared no time crashing his lips into yours. You happily wrapped your arms around his neck, a smile creeping its way into the kiss. Fred picked you up and spun you around, not taking his lips off of you.

Everyone was cheering and throwing petals.

Nothing could ruin this moment.

Nothing.
