Every one that wants a part two. It will be on quinnsmith591 account. thank you.

The party in Gryffindor common room raged on around you as you throw back the last bit of your drink, your head feeling fuzzy with the alcohol. You're not sure how it was smuggled in but you can't bring yourself to care tonight, determined to get drunk enough that you felt well and truly numb.

Gryffindor was celebrating the victory of beating Slytherin in the Quidditch cup, the whole house high on the earlier win and the bottles of fire whiskey. You weren't really in the celebratory kind of mood but it was either this or heading to bed early and you didn't really feel like lying awake and thinking about everything you'd been trying to bury beneath school work all week.

Standing up from the corner you'd situated yourself in you stumbled the length of the room, intending on finding another drink. A few people cast you side glances as you gripped the furniture to hold you steady but you didn't give it any thought; not until your way was blocked by Remus.
"Let me pass," You mumbled, refusing to look up at his face. You didn't want to see the worry and pity that would most likely be there.

You'd managed to avoid the marauders for the last week, every since your boyfriend Sirius had told you that he felt the two of you shouldn't be together anymore. Not only had it felt like your heart shattered into a million little pieces right there on the spot but you felt humiliated.

You'd told Sirius the night before that you loved him and thought stupidly that he'd feel the same way. When he told you the next day it was over you couldn't help but feel like you might be sick. Sirius hadn't just been your boyfriend he'd been the one person you could turn to about anything and know that he wouldn't judge. He'd been the only one you could complain to and know that he'd do anything to try and make you smile again. Not having him in your life left a weight in the pit of your belly that felt heavy and uncomfortable.

"I'm not letting you drink anymore y/n," Remus pressed gently, laying one of his large hands on your shoulder. "You don't need to do this to yourself."
"What? Enjoy the party?" You snipe, rolling your eyes. "It's what everyone else is doing, why don't you go and Mother them?"
"I think we both know what you're trying to do."

Anger boiled through you and you swiped Remus' hand away from yourself, shouldering past him. The room suddenly felt stifling and all you wanted was to get away from everyone inside.

You made to move to the portrait hole but stopped in your tracks when you saw Sirius standing next to it, his arm lent on the wall above Marlene's head as she cosied herself up next to him. Your bottom lip wobbled and tears instantly threatened to spill over as she ran one of her fingers up along his chest. Your stomach churned and you made a run for it, ignoring Remus as he called out after you.

How could he blatantly disregard your feelings like that? How could he stand there and flirt with herwhen he knew you were in the room? It was like he was taunting you, using your feelings like some kind of sick joke. You sank down onto the floor outside the portrait hole, burying your face against your knees as the sobs shook through you.

When someone slid to the ground next to you you didn't have to look up to know who it was, a fresh onslaught of tears rolling over your cheeks as you lent your head on Remus' shoulder. He wrapped one of his arms around you.
"He's a git."
"Doesn't matter," You whispered. "He's obviously moved on."
"Y/n..."

At that moment the portrait opened up again and you both looked up to see Sirius walking out with James, stopping in his tracks as he saw the two of you cuddled up against the wall. He's nostrils flared out in anger and his eyebrows knit together suspiciously. He glared down at you and you felt small under his gaze.
"What the fucks going on out here?"
