Twenty First Moon

The next day, the two of us woke up early. Actually, he woke up earlier because he has to check our territories with Beta Tom and some of the warriors.

He woke me up by showering my face with kisses. It's not that I'm complaining or anything though...just...keep going, Pierre. Charot.

"Can't watch your training today. I'm going to be out the whole day." He pouted.

Tumawa ako. "It's okay, hindi naman talaga required na manuod ka."

"My mate is the trainer today, I have to watch." He said.

"I'll train them again next week. You can watch..."

"So you want me to watch?" He grinned at me.

I blushed. "Yes, of course. You're my...m-mate." I bit my lip, trying to prevent myself from smiling like an idiot.

I think this is the first time I called him my mate. His reaction was priceless. Nagulat siya at nakita kong namula ang kanyang mga pisngi. Hindi niya rin naitago ang kanyang ngiti.

"Can you call me that again?" Mahina niyang tanong sakin.

I smiled. "You're my mate." I said, now confident.

Hinilamos niya ang kanyang mukha sa kanyang kamay habang nakangiti. Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili kong tumawa. He's so cute, lalo na kapag kinikilig siya.

"Let's just skip our tasks today and stay here in our room. Pinakilig mo ako ng grabe, panagutan mo ako." He said before pulling me closer to him.

"We can't do that. I can't cancel the training again, you know and you should not skip this trip too." I said.

Ngumuso ulit siya. "Hindi mo ba ako mamimiss?"

"Of course, I'll miss you pero babalik ka lang din naman kaya ayos lang." Sabi ko.

"Can't you come with me? Hihintayin kong matapos ang training mo para makasama ka." He said.

"At ano namang gagawin ko dun?" Natatawa kong tanong.

"Watch...observe...state your opinions. Just like a Luna would do." He smirked.

"I'm not officially your Luna yet." I said before pointing at my unmarked neck. 

He licked his lower lip before speaking. "Don't tempt me right now...I plan on claiming you the day before our party."

"But the Ivanovs..."

"I don't care anymore, Vanessa. I want to claim you as soon as possible. Alam mo, dapat nung unang beses tayong nagkita ay inangkin na kita. That's how it should really be."

"Yeah, but remember we had a mutual rejection before." I grinned.

"I only rejected you 'cause you rejected me," He rolled his eyes. "I wanted you but it wasn't mutual so I had to act like I didn't care. And I used the she-wolves to distract me or to make you jealous but you're as hard as a rock." He chuckled.

I smiled before wrapping my arms around his neck. "Ssh, hindi na importante yun. Mas importante yung ngayon," I said. "everything is mutual already. I'm happy with you. I won't reject you anymore."

He smiled before kissing me. This is becoming a habit. His habit, to be exact. He loves kissing me. Pero hindi naman ako nagrereklamo. Gora lang.

"Oh, you finally accepted each other?" Nolan asked.

"Well, he told me that he already has feelings for me ever since, but he pretended that he doesn't like me because I rejected him," Natawa ako. "we're idiots, right?"
