"You what?!" Sigaw ni Tanner.

I quickly covered his mouth. Some wolves were stretching already and some turned their attention to us. I shot Tanner a look.

"Keep it down, will you?" Mahina kong sabi bago inalis ang kamay ko sa bibig niya.

"I can't believe you said no," He sighed. "the man said he loves you. A. Lot. Of. Times."

"And so? I can't fully trust him with my heart yet, Tan. Remember his past with she-wolves?" I rolled my eyes.

"Naiintindihan kong natatakot ka pero—.."

"Tanner, hindi naman ako nagmamadali. And if he really wants his chance, then he should wait." Sabi ko.

"Pero, Vanessa, matanong ko lang." Sabi niya habang nagstestretching.

"Ano?" Tanong ko.

"Nakalimutan mo na ba yung noon?" Tumingin siya sakin.

I sighed. "Wag nalang nating pag-usapan yun."

"But, Vanessa, I want you to be fully healed when you start a relationship with Alpha Pierre. I want your heart and mind to be ready." Mahinang sabi ni Tanner.

I turned to him and gave him a small smile. "I'll be fine, Tan. Tsaka, sabi ko nga sayo, hindi ako nagmamadali. Hindi pa naman kami eh."

He smirked. "Pero magiging kayo nga?"

Sana! My Wolf giggled.

"Ewan ko sayo. Maghanda ka na nga diyan." Sabi ko bago naglakad papunta sa harap.

Nasa harapan talaga ako kapag nag-eensayo kami, minsan naman ay nasa pinakalikod para makita ko ang lahat ng mga lobo. At para malaman ko kung maayos ba silang nag-eensayo.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw Pierre standing in front of the wolves. He looked mighty fine. He was already topless and barefoot. Ready to shift and train us.

Ang yummers talaga. Hindi ka ba natetempt na angkinin yan, V? Malanding tanong ng lobo ko. I ignored her. Like I always do.

When he saw me walking towards the center, his face lit up. To my surprise, he smiled at me. It wasn't a sarcastic smile, but one of his genuine and rarest smiles.

Fuck my life. Why do I have to suffer like this?

"Hey," He said to me when I reached the center. "you done stretching?"

"Y-Yes...we can start now..." Sabi ko bago nag-iwas ng tingin.

Tumango siya sakin bago humarap sa mga lobo. He started to talk, he talked about controlling our strength, both as a human and as a wolf. He talked about patience, especially in hunting and waiting for our prey.

Habang nagsasalita siya ay nakatitig lang ako sa kanya. He really is an Alpha. Nasa dugo talaga nila ang pagiging pinuno. He may be an asshole sometimes, but he is a great leader and a great teacher.

Yumuko ako dahil napangiti ako. Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit bigla akong napangiti dahil sa kanya.

"Stop smiling, you idiot. Para kang tanga." Sabi ni Tanner sa isip ko.

"Shut up and listen to the Alpha." Sagot ko.

"Oh, by the way, invited pala si Russian princess sa training ngayon?" He asked.

Kumunot ang noo ko bago tumingin sa likuran namin. And there I saw Young Alpha Aleksei with her parents. They were watching us, but the Young Alpha has her eyes on Pierre.
