"Wow, you cooked this?"

I gave him a proud smile. "Yup!" I paused. "I hope you'll like this..."

At sana, tama yung ginawa ko. Sinunod ko lang yung instructions sa internet eh.

"Oh, I like it already." He said without taking his eyes off me.

My Wolf howled. Double meaning?

Tumikhim ako bago nagsalita. "I'll just wash my hands."

"Me too," He said. "and uh, by the way, here's our wine." Sabi niya bago inabot yung hawak hawak niyang bote.

I smiled when I realized that it was my favorite wine. I'm sure this is just a coincidence, he doesn't know my favorite wine. And he didn't ask.

"I'm happy that you're smiling but may I know why?" He chuckled.

Natawa din ako. "This is my favorite wine."

Napakamot siya sa ulo niya. "Yeah...I asked Tanner about that. Gusto ko kasing dalhin yung wine na gusto mo..."

He looked so shy! What the heck? Why do I find him so cute?

We washed hands together and he even splashed some water on my face. I laughed and did the same to him. This is the first time that I laughed like this with him.

Nilagay ko na yung mga wine glass sa tabi ng mga plato namin bago umupo sa tapat niya. I blushed when I realized that he was just staring at me while I was sitting down.

Why? Do I look or smell bad? Naligo naman ako, ah.

"What's wrong?" Tanong ko.

Ngumiti siya bago umiling. "Nothing. Let's eat."

"Tell me." Pilit ko.

Gusto kong malaman kung anong iniisip niya. Baka kasi gusto niyang sabihin na ayaw niya sa pagkain...or baka nga amoy ulam pa rin ako.

Over thinker much, teh? My Wolf teased.

"You look so beautiful," He paused. "I mean...you always do, but you look more beautiful when you wear and look simple." Diretso niyang sabi.

My heart skipped a beat. How come he's so straightforward? At...totoo ba talaga yan?

Okay, calm down, Vanessa. Siya dapat ang mahulog sayo, not the other way around. Please, calm yourself.

"Thank you, Pierre," That's it, be kind. Who wouldn't fall for a kind woman, right? "let's eat."

Ako mismo ang naglagay ng pagkain sa plato niya. I saw him smile while I was doing that, that made me smile unintentionally. He looked so cute, like a child.

He sighed after taking his first bite. "This is delicious." He grinned at me.

"Thank you," I took a bite. "you know....I can always cook for you. Hanggang sa matapos ang challenge."

Natigil siya sa pagnguya ng ilang segundo. Tumingin siya sakin at tumango. Linunok niya yung kinain niya bago nagsalita.

"Yeah, that would be nice." He answered.

We ate silently. Hindi ko alam kung bakit siya natahimik bigla. Uminom ako mula sa wine ko bago nagsalita.

"May tanong nga pala ako."

He looked at me. "Yes?"

"Bakit ganitong challenge ang naisip mo para sakin?" Diretso kong tanong.

"Because...you hate me and I know you might lose this challenge. Alam kong ayaw mong magustuhan kita."

"If I lose, I'll stay. Do you really want me to stay in your pack? You hate me too, right?" I raised an eyebrow.
