Hindi ko siya magawang tingnan sa mata matapos naming mag-usap dun sa lugar na yon.

I was too embarrassed and angry!

"Kidding," He laughed loudly. "your face was epic, Vanessa."

I wanted to shift and rip his face off! Nakakahiya! Nakakainis!

"Seryoso ka, teh?" Pangalawang tanong ni Tanner.

I groaned before answering him. "Oo nga! That bastard! I hate him so much!"

"Bakit? Kasi nag-assume ka? Hinihiling mo na sana hindi siya nagbibiro?" He asked with a teasing smile.

Hinagis ko yung yakap yakap kong throw pillow sa mukha niya. Tumawa siya ng malakas dahil sa ginawa ko kaya mas lalo akong nainis.

I stayed at home the whole day yesterday, after our stupid date. I immediately left the falls after he said that he was only kidding. I was so mad, even my Wolf! She took over and started to run away from him.

My Wolf was mad but shockingly, I was too. Bakit naman ako magagalit? Bakit ako affected?

"So, what now?" Tanner asked after clearing his throat.

Humiga ako ng maayos sa sofa at tumingin sa screen. The two of us were watching a horror movie. I told him that I wanted to watch something violent. Nanggigigil ako.

"What do you mean, 'what now?'" I asked without looking at him.

"Anong gagawin mo kung magkikita kayo? And what about his challenge to you?"

I told him about the challenge. Kinikilig raw siya dahil sa challenge na yun at gusto niya rin daw'ng machallenge nung crush niya mula sa Red Moon.

"Wala," I said. "hindi naman ako magpapakita sa kanya."

"Eh yung challenge niya nga sayo. Ano na?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Ewan!" I groaned again. "I want to—aah! Naiirita ako, punyeta!"

Humalakhak si Tanner kaya hinampas ko ang kanyang hita. He was about to say something when someone knocked loudly on our door.

"Vanessa, open up!"

Pumikit ako ng mariin. What does he want now? I don't want to see him.

"Kanina niya pa akong gustong kausapin. I'm just blocking him on my mind." I whispered to Tanner.

"What should we do? Let him in?" He whispered back as he lowered the tv's volume.

"No!" I half whispered, half yelled. "let's just wait for him to leave—.."

"Hindi ako aalis dito hangga't sa hindi mo binubuksan ang pintong ito!" He yelled from outside.

I rolled my eyes. Tanner covered his mouth so he won't laugh. Again.

"What now?" He asked.

"Make him leave," I said while standing up. "tell him I'm not here."

He knows you're here! He can smell you and he heard the tv! My Wolf said.

Fuck. I told Tanner to make him leave again before running towards my room. Sinara ko ang aking pinto bago hinubad ang suot ko, leaving my undergarments.

I was opening my window when I heard Pierre and Tanner's voices.

"Wala siya rito, Alpha."

"Don't lie. Her scent is still fresh in here." Pierre said in a stern voice.

"Wala po talaga—Alpha! Wag kang umakyat diyan! Wala siya diyan! Hindi siya tumakbo paakyat diyan para magtago!" Tanner yelled.

I rolled my eyes before jumping off my window. I shifted before reaching the ground. Sumulyap ako sa bintana ko bago tumakbo palayo dito.
