It had been almost a week since we had heard anything from Henry, which meant two things, first it was hopefully going good with Lockwood; and secondly I was going crazy not seeing him or talking to him. We had set a plan up that he would go to the coffee shop by the hotel every morning and get a flavored coffee that would mean he was okay and that everything was still going as planned. If he got a black coffee or didn't show up period we knew something was wrong. Thankfully one of the baristas at the coffee shop was Mer and could be trusted, she told us what he ordered every day so that we knew everything was still okay. Even though I knew everything was fine I still was on pins and needles, now that we knew who was behind everything I was worried more than ever now about Henry's safety. I couldn't imagine what would happen to him if Sam was to ever figure out who he actually was. I was waiting anxiously to see him again and it couldn't come fast enough.

In the meantime Uncle Alf has been putting the pack through tons of drills and lessons on fighting, they didn't fight him on it either. I think they all realized that our pack could be next and everyone wanted to be prepared. It was one of the many things I loved about our pack, we were and acted like a family, everyone had everyone's back for the most part. You had the few that weren't the most reliable but the ones that were reliable outweighed them by far.

Annie had been moved to Troy's parent's house where she was being waited on hand and foot, and although she whined about it I knew she secretly loved it. She was upset that she couldn't be a part of the training but with chicken nugget growing the way she was there was no way she would be able to do anything. Annie was hooked up to monitors twenty four seven now, both my mom and Dr. Erik felt like she could deliver any day.

I had just finished my morning run and was getting ready to head to the practice field when I saw Scarlet running towards me in her wolf form. She whined when she reached me urging me to shift, she turned around to give me some privacy as I stripped out of my clothes and shifted.

"What's wrong?" I asked her instantly.

"Alpha sent me to find you, Henry ordered black coffee this morning, a large black coffee." Scarlet answered panting.

"What?!" I shouted at her. A black coffee was the signal for something bad, I didn't know what a large one meant. "Did he look okay though? Did she say?"

"She said he was fine but looked worried." She assured me. "Alpha is worried this means they are going to attack us soon."

"What if they found out Henry is under cover and not really on their side?" I worried as I paced back and forth.

"If they had found that out he would be dead." Scarlet said blatantly, she was right though, he wouldn't be alive if they did know which meant only one thing. They were coming for us.

"Where is Uncle Alf now?" I asked in a panic.

"He was at my parent's house which is why I was sent to find you, he was heading home next to contact everyone and tell them to be on top alert." Scarlet took off running towards Uncle Alf's house and I was hot on her heels.

"I'll see you later, I need to find Jeremy." Scarlet parted ways as soon as Uncle Alf's house came into view.

"Keep your eyes peeled and be careful." I warned her. I ran to the old shed in their back yard that held changes of clothes and quickly shifted, slipping on a t-shirt and pair of shorts. I barged in the back door and headed straight for the office, I rapped quickly on the door before entering. Uncle Alf was on the phone with someone and Aunt Lou was pacing the room, looking up long enough to give me a sympathetic smile before continuing to wear a path in the floor.

"Excellent. Make sure they are ready." Uncle Alf hung up and looked at the both of us. "The traps are in place and ready to be used, I've contacted one of the warriors I have working for me secretly and he is on high alert."
