What took you so long?" Sam snapped as I made my way to the table.
"There was a line." I fibbed and only felt a little guilt, he was being rude so I didn't feel the need to tell him the truth. To tell him I was finding out all about his history with this restaurant.
"Well let's go." He stood before I could even sit down. I grabbed my purse from the chair and followed him out of the restaurant. When we got to the car he once again opened my door for me and I got in, buckling my seatbelt.
As soon as he started the car I looked at the clock radio and saw that it was only ten, I still had two hours till the end of my curfew. I wondered if he was going to take me home or if he had another plan.
"I have another special surprise for you." He smiled at me as he started the car and backed out of the parking spot. I had to scream to myself not to roll me eyes at his use of the word "special".
"Sounds great." I smiled back.
His special surprise ended up being getting ice cream(that I was happy about) and going to the cliff. The cliff was literally just that, a cliff. It sat on one of the edges of our packs territory line and it was a known make out spot. As we pulled up I started to feel a little uneasy, thoughts of what Coleen had told me in the bathroom started swimming around in my head.
Once he had parked he reached in the backseat and pulled a blanket out, "Come on." He said as he got out of the car.
I opened my door and followed up him to the front of the car where he had laid out the blanked and was sitting on it. He patted the ground beside him and I sat down making sure there was space in between us. The awkward silence we were so good at once again filled the night air.
I was startled when he reached over to grab my hand. I looked down to see our fingers intertwined and electric tingles shooting up my arms. I wondered if he was having the same reaction as I was.
"You look beautiful tonight." He leaned over and whispered in my ear. I couldn't even respond because my brain was on sensory overload from being this close to my mate. I lost all thinking capability when his lips brushed against mine. I won't lie and say I've never kissed a boy before, there were a couple that I had kissed but those few stolen kisses had been nothing like this. This was something that was on a completely different level. My body was instantly warm and felt like a live wire, I kissed him back once I brought my brain back from wherever it had been visiting.
I could get used to this, kissing my mate and being in his arms. Everything from the restaurant had been forgotten and all I could think about was right here and now. I felt so loved and cherish by him in this moment that nothing could have ruined it. Those were my thoughts until the next thing I knew he was shoving me to the ground and trying to take my jeans off.
"Wh- What are you doing?" I gasped as I tried to push his hands away from my pants. Thank the goddess I had worn the skinny jeans that were fastened closed by four buttons, I thought the buttons were completely useless aside from looking cute but now I was thankful for every single one of them.
"What do you mean what am I doing? We're going to mark each other." He looked at me with a dumb look like I should have known what was going on.
"Mark each other?" I asked him back, there was no way he expected that. For mates to mark each other they need to have sex and bite each other during the process, we've only been on one date and kissed once! He couldn't possibly be expecting for us to mark each other tonight!
"Yes, mark each other. Geez, haven't those Luna lessons taught you anything?" He scoffed and returned to fighting me for access to my pants.
"I understand what marking each other is." I snapped at him. "What I'm failing to understand is why you think that is happening tonight."
